since it's a no-bottom bin I lift it off the compost and leave a bin shaped mound behind. I reposition the bin (usually right next to the heap) and shovel it in.

That sounds like a better idea than the one we had. Did you buy it or did you make it?

Afternoon ladies (well I havent seen Oddjob or Phil lately)

I have been sooooo lazy today.

OH said I could have a lie in today and then brought me a cuppa at 630! So went back to sleep until 10, got up had breakfast and still felt exhausted so went back to sleep on the sofa until nearly 1 .

Have since lounged in bath, loaded and reloaded WM and TD, folded clothes and towels and put away and now need to start on the list! oh and priority is to do a freezer checklist as I dont have a clue what we do or dont have.

Hope all ok and welcome (back) to new and returning fly peeps

HHC 430 if anyone up for it

    Hi everyone

00020334.gif Pigpen and Toots for all your hard work.

    Welcome to all the newbies.

Hope you are all well and happy. Not caught up with this thread or the end of the last so big hugs to all who need them.

Forgot to tell you all yesterday(too chuffed about ss phoning), I was woken by a little choir signing happy birthday with a huge chocolate birthday cake with (way too many) candles! I had a great day.

I have changed my bed but can't wash the bedding as my WM is playing silly beggers again:mad: repair man coming tomorrow, more money:mad:

Right I am definitely in this week - it has been a long time since i have flown! Since we moved into the new house over a year ago in fact!

So my MACAW is to start flying!

Pleased to see the firstthing is to wash bedding though as OH has already done this today - yippee!

Afternoon all, I've done the bedroom, put some laundry away, washed up, shopped (got another M&S £10 deal for tonight, save me faffing with a roast ;)) and am now going to update my list, update my gc sig, watch something off the sky+ box and chill.

kazm - sounds like you needed the sleep
princess Jane - coping vibes coming your way
soappie - hope the eyes have stayed ok. where are you going on hols?
valli - sorry, forgot to answer about the flies last time you asked. It seems a bit better since I sealed the compost bag properly. DH also washed all the plants in the shower which may've helped. we're still not sure what they are, but it has def improved!

A week today I'll be in switzerland at my best mate's. Am looking forward to it but am a bit nervous about flying on my own (I seem to have got a bit silly since getting married, i used to be really independent!), but I'm sure I'll have a great time! I go Sat-wed but i have the whole week off work.
I've still not heard if I have an interview for the job i went for, I'll be surprised if not as I though I hit all the criteria, they shortlisted last tues (saw it in someone's outlook calendar!). Fingers crossed I hear this week.

    Right, where's my list!?
