Weekly Flylady Thread 4th May 2009

Right I'm posting todays list even though I've got a bit carried away in the kitchen and done that instead.:rolleyes:

So I have - wiped down the cupboard door and drawer fronts, small appliances, large appliances, cleared work surfaces, wiped the kitchen splash back tiles, cleared out the scary cupboard, shredded a load of paperwork, cleaned out the under sink cupboard, the saucepan cupboard and the coffee cupboard. Loaded, unloaded and reloaded the DW. Made up some egg mayo for tomorrow. Done 6 loads of washing. Put stuff in to soak. Cleaned the d/s toilet and I think that's it.

Off to do a bit more..................

Magnificent Monday ~ Master bedroom and Landing
Level One
strip the bedding and get it washed.. air the duvet
Mattress vacuumed turned vacuumed other side and redress bed
Level Two
[STRIKE]Deal with the floordrobe[/STRIKE]
Wash the windows
Wipe all the doors and frames upstairs
Level Three
Vacuum floors
Tidy a cupboard/chest of drawers
Dust and deweb.. inc bed frame!!
Extras

1. [STRIKE]Binbag dance [/STRIKE]
2. Binbag for charity
3. [STRIKE]Sort out your own shoes and bags.. can any be rehomed? [/STRIKE]
4. Wipe hand rails on stairs

ETA -Forgot that I also degunged the fridge and washed out the bin.

In law update - not trying to go off-topic - just send me positive vibes please.

12 days to go of three-week stay.

Today MIL came downstairs smelling strongly of my expensive perfume. Asked was she wearing expensive perfume, which she confirmed.
Expensive perfume now relocated from bathroom to my dressing room.

Worked all weekend at 2nd job, missed some good nights out and my headaches.

GOAL for this week - fix iTunes so I can download new music.

I decided against the garden centre as it's cold and raining and the bit i need to go to is outside.

Princess Jane - we're all thinking of you! I can understand why you've taken so many shifts on your second job. If I were you I'd take every opportunity to work that's available for the next 12 days...

I've been to the gym today (the pool is closed as the pump has failed, so I need to check opening times for another local pool in case this goes on for a while), and spent a hour on the treadmill of which 18 minutes in total was running (7 minutes, then 6 minutes, then 5 minutes, with plenty of recovery time in between!). Also had a quick look round the shopping centre, but there were too many people there. I may go back after my workout tomorrow (I'm hoping the running place will be open as it was closed today).

Flying... um... I've brought the bedroom and bathroom bins downstairs...I need to put another layer on as it's FREEZING here, put on some music and get the bedroom sorted (and hopefully the ironing too )

Thanks to Toots and Pigpen for the lists.

I have been a very busy bee this weekend and have gone from top to the bottom of my house. I have cleaned dusted swished and swiped. Stripped and remade beds. Hoovered, mopped and swept.

The only thing i have not done is my windows and thats because it is raining.

I am going in hospital for a few days tomorrow and i will be home on thursday or friday to a nice tidy house.

Thanks for your wishes i will be on light fly duties for as short a time as i possibly can.

Going to the cinema in a couple of hours, and then dinner out, its kind of a late birthday thing for boyf coz he didn't feel like doing much last week.

I can probably get the list done in that...I think.
