Thanks for the update, I will check it out next time, lucky you living so close... (it's about 30 mins from us, although took us an hour on Saturday because of accident at the A12...
)
I need to look around there properly, but we never seem to have the time, it's massive isn't it - the second hand section is usually pretty good though...
Yes, not the best of journeys from you really - I work in West Horndon so have to deal with that bit of the M25 on a daily basis! :eek:
That stall I was talking about is right at the very front - as you walk over from the car park if you just head along the front edge of the market you should find it. :cool:🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

But napalm, I'm sure would be much more fun. It'd probably get rid of the blasted snails too!I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

I may have to resort to that...... Strangely enough I found a recipe for it online in the Acidburn Cookbook. Basically get some petrol and some styrofoam and keep adding the styrofoam until the petrol won't dissolve it anymore. The resultant syrup is, essentially, napalm.... it's amazing what you can find on t'internet these days...
Some years ago I worked for a second hamd bookshop (very happy if very very badly paid days!) and every so often we would get a request for The Alchemists Cookbook. This was essentially a bomb making handbook and it was the only thing we were not allowed to advertise for. I bet it is now freely available on the internet, but dare not search for it just in case big brother is watching!
Greenbee I will happily come and sort your garden. other peoples are easy, it is your own that is a pain - do you fancy a a swap for a week? (sniggers thinking about the 45 toad lillies that need planting, plus all the seedlings that want planting up and the borders that need weeding.... I love and hate having a big garden.......)'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

Abbie - if you can't just sit and do nothing, how about taking up knitting for the babe (you may already do this, I don't know) and sit down with that. Then you will be doing something!
Soappie - I'm ashamed to say that I don't know how to knitalthough I can imagine that it is quite theraputic and relaxing (and productive, which is always good!
). Its a good idea. How easy would it be to teach myself do you think?
Will catch up with all the news in a bit. I hope you have all had a good weekend! Mum and Dad came up to us yesterday which was nice. We all went into town for a bit. They brought up a huge washing line that they did not need, which will be a real help. We just had a normal 3 prong washing line, which is not ideal when you are drying all the bedding, and it would not all fit on.. When we have our new arrival the washing is just going to increase some more :eek: This will just make life easier. Anyway we went searching for a big enough stake to go into the grass. We then went to buy "big boy pants" for ds. We are potty training at the moment, so granny and grandad made a very important visit to one of the shops, so ds could choose the pants he wanted. They made a real fuss of him and he could not wait to get home, and put them on.
We all had a lovely lunch together. Dad looked quite poorly and not his usual self at all. He is understandibly worried about having the kidney out on Thursday. Apparently they can remove it by keyhole surgery, but there is a chance they will have to open Dad up. He will go into intensive care then, when they can monitor the other kidney to see if it can cope with working on its own. If it does not do what it should, it will mean dialysis. Once the tumor is out, they will have a better idea about the secondary cancer that has gone to the lungs (they type of cancer and the extent of it). It has all happened so quickly and I can't imagine what Dad is going through. He loved seeing the children and dh, and we spent a good hour together on our own just chatting, which was lovely. I just pray that he will pull through all of this. It certainly puts life into perspective.
I have not done much flying at all over the weekend, but I will catch up in the week. I have my 12 week scan tomorrow, which I am really excited about. :j In a way, it will be a relief to have it done, and know that everything is as it should be with the baby. Lots of "healthy flybaby" vibes would be very much appreciated.
I feel totally drained today. Can you believe it on top of everything; dh was up all night with this awful pain. He did not know what to do with himself. Anyway this morning, the on call Doctor decided that it was probably gall stones. I stayed up with him in the night, so tiredness is really hitting me now. Once the children are in bed, we will have some food and sit down, and I will catch up with all the news. I don't want to bore you anymore so love and best wishes to you all. Enjoy your evening. I thoroughly recommend chickens for the slugs and snails. But they do destroy everything else too.
I would love to have chickens but as there's no grass in my garden, just slabs and beds, it would be difficult for them I suspect. And the urban fox that regularly uses my garden as a short cut would love having dinner ready and waiting for it...I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
