I'm in... after a week off work I need to make sure I'm prepared for going back! And I've lost my yoga mat... I obviously left it somewhere after the last class (which was a while ago)

jo hope you are keeping your plants under control now!!
Yes, my back garden is very beautiful......not perfect but soooooooooooooo much better than it was. The front still needs doing, but i still have lots of braches etc which i need to get rid of. I keep filling up the garden waste bin, but its only emptied every two weeks! So its taking a while to get rid of it all!
Once I get it all cleared I need to sort out the lawn at the front. I did the back yesterday. Strimmed it, raked it, strimmed it again, went over the lawn with a garden fork, fed the lawn then sprinkled it with grass seed, then raked over the seeds so they all got wet (helps with germination apparently!) so Im hoping that it will start to look like a lawn as opposed to a large patch of weeds and dandelions!
The tomatoes are coming on well but I need to get them into a grow bag soon. Ive been put off putting them outside though as the Sunflowers went outside and have been badly damaged by the wind (typical welsh weather!) Ive brought them back in again, but I dont think one of them will make it, as the stem has snapped.....not right through but its bad.
My strawberry plants are still in my little windowsill greenhouse box and are teeny weeny still! But they are coming on ok.
I might go and do the tomatoes actually..............its the least strenuious (sp) task I can think of.
I may just sit here and read my book though!!Sometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying

Afternoon all,
Very lazy day as I have been working hard all week, so enjoyed a lie in, except for neighbours dog barking constantly where they lock him in the garden... grrrrr it's so mean of them and I don't know how they can ignore the constant bark...???
Anyway, dinner is on (one of the beef joints we brought from North Weald Market yesterday - 5 large joints for £20! ) GP watched... (won't comment incase anyone watching later.:) ) and caught up with thread...
Hugs Dusty - It's like anything, the more you put it off, the more you will worry and WANT to put it off, but I am sure you have everyone telling you that already - like we did with Toots, we will all be there with you holding your hand in the chair, but I am sure it won't be as bad as you think... good luck x
Toots - hope you feel better today, hugs to you and hope they sort your meds soon x x x

North Weald is brilliant isn't it FF! We only live a few miles away so it's a fairly regular haunt of ours - I take it you know about the cheap food stall at the very front, literally facing onto the car park? Brilliant for cheap crisps, snacks and cereals. When the Walkers limited flavours were first out they were selling them for 5 of the big bags (50g?) for £1 - and they often have the 150g packs of sensations etc for 2 for £1.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Hi guys
I've pretty much chilled out all day, went out and about this morning to see GD and a mooch round Asda for mayonnaise and a paper, then came home and did nothing except cut the back grass and put some washing out, and I'm lovin it! I've killed the lawnmower though - oops! it started smoking  I mean I know I hated it but it wasn't deliberate honest guv! not sure OH believes meany excuse to buy the one I've had my eye on *coughs* but it's for medical reasons the old one weighed a ton and my back ached after I lugged it about Mt Kilimanjaro AKA back grass, the new one is lighter.
Picking DD1 up from work at 6 then a quick squizz in the fridge to see what I can conjur up for tea. Pack-ups later on while I S&S the kitchen.0 -
Toilet cleaned
Bathroom sink washed and wiped
Empty bottle from bathroom binned
Bathroom bin emptied
WM X 1
Wet washing hung out
Bedding changed.
Shopping done
Got back early hours of the morning as I had a birthday barbeque with some friends in York. Great time but I wasn't in the mood to drink so we drove back instead of staying over.
Got up and had to drive back to collect other car and my DD's who stayed over at a friends house.
Dropped in on a car boot and got some plants for my raised beds.
Leeks, rhubarb and toms.
Then headed back and went shopping and loaded up food for da dahhhhhh EXAM WEEK, ugh, the start of.:silenced:
I'm hoping all goes as smoothly as poss and we have no more drama.
I'm armed with Rescue remedy, Kalms, chamomile tea and if all that fails.....gin :rotfl:joking all but the latter are for my DD1.
Just want to wish all parents with kids going through exams, GOOD LUCK for the oncoming weeks.;)
