Morning all. DH and FIL put up blackout blinds in baby's room yeterday and I got a lie in till 7:10am.... (To think, there used to be a time when 9am was getting up early :rotfl:) We're going swimming this morning, then off to the allotment. Lovely day for it.

I'm hoping to be able to do our bedroom today (finally!) but we shall see what happens - I need the crib moved out of the way first.

Oh, while we're on seeds, we have 38 little pea seedlings :) I was obsessively counting them because for about 3 days they were coming up so fast that every time I looked there were more :) We have pumpkins and various squashes ready to plant out today and some runner beans (waiting for the next lot to grow to join them!) No sign of courgettes yet though :(

    Morning all!

Congratulations to vanilla on the birth of baby Rhys!
Hugs to pigpen, mojt, hex, emily, flower, holly, toots, mozzy and anyone else who would like one.

Had a busy day yesterday - I was quite proud of myself as I managed to mealplan from yesterday right up to the end of May, and there aren't too many repetitions in dishes either. It took me ages though, but should help to limit the budget for shopping this month as I'll just need to top up with milk and fresh fruit when needed.
I also went to body combat 10-11, and met 3 lovely girls there who I hope will become friends if I go regularly. One of them teaches in the school with "willy boy" and said she hasn't heard about the incident, but she works in reception, which is away from the rest of the year groups. It was her friend who I was talking to in the beginning. Then another girl in the class managed to twist her ankle when she landed strangely during the class, so I talked to her in the changing rooms to see how she was. I'm really starting to see a difference after only going to 2 classes, and the instructor yesterday (a man) was much tougher on us, so we worked even harder. Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to go on Tuesday morning next week as the class is at the same time as my Mum's hospital appointment on the other side of town, so I won't be able to get there, but I'll try to go on Wednesday evening.
I also did all of the food shopping and went to the local market to get the fruit.

Today, the plan is to finish off my lists, to plant my strawberries, and to go for a walk around Bosham this afternoon if the weather is nice.

So, must get dressed. Anyone want to join me in a HHC 9.45-10.15?

    Take care everyone,

    sexymouse xx

Big hugs Toots, hope today is better than yesterday

Holly, hope your tonsillitis is better soon

Mozzy that’s a good idea, I could put it all in a crate and keep it on the table, then just lift off if I want to put the table up (it folds up into the bookcase) or clean it!

Toots, I’m not managing to be completely tidy, but I’m trying. He just leaves things where they fall and never ever goes back to tidy. I’m really trying, although it’s not always very successful!

Hugs Mammamia (although it is self inflicted!)

Sexy, really nice to hear that you have some new friends, that’s lovely

I think this flying milarky is really getting to me. I can't stop doing it! Before I fell asleep last night I was thinking about the washing and got up and put DH's jeans on the heated towel rail and moved a top that was hanging in the doorway. Then when I went to the loo at 6:30am I thought 'oh the trousers over the door must be dry now,' so I took them and put them away before getting back into bed, as I was passing their 'home' on my way back!
Have started some washing, DH is frantically looking for a receipt as something he bought 2 weeks ago is broken already.
I'm going to do a bit of tidying up now

Hope you all have a good day xx

Oh my goodness, DH is tidying the table! Something I said has got through! I asked him at 9 to have it done by 10 but didn't really think he would. Yay! :j:T:j He will get a big :kisses2:when he's done it!

Looks as if it might actually be a nice day here - no clouds, blue sky, and not as windy.

I didn't make it to the pool/gym/yoga this morning, but I'm hoping to get plenty done today to make up for the lack of progress during the week. One load of laundry in... about 3 more to do . Breakfast eaten... I feel grubby and horrible, so need to have a shower and get myself moving.

More freecycle reponses in - and someone even wants to the coathangers that I really didn't think would go! So more stuff diverted from landfill... I just have to work out when I want them all to come and collect. Hopefully I can get them all to come in a half-hour window so I don't end up having to stay in all day...

    Morning all

Lovely and sunny here, DH has just taken all the boys to cricket training.

I'm tearful today, my teeth/jaw are still hurting and I'm getting myself in such a state about even ringing the dentist let alone going! I am fine going for a check-up or hygenist visit as I know what is going to happen and how long it takes etc. I don't deal with the unknown. As DH said last night you worry about finding a parking space by the beach, you just worry. I feel sick with fear and shakey so am going to try to do things to distract myself.

    Dusty's Plan:

    Sort out veg patch No2
    plant out hollyhocks
    catproof pots
little bit of pruning out the front
    online banking
find proof of ID for kids bank
    make apple crumble
    make sausage casserole
    list 2 items on ebay
    HHI
    DS3 homework
    DS2 - check homework

That should keep me busy for a bit. DH mopped the kitchen floor this morning without me even mentioning it which was kind of him. DS2 has a sore throat so need to keep an eye on that.

Holly hope you are better soon
Greenbee I need to pm you later
Pigpen hope the pain is easing

Off to find the rescue rememdy and clean the bathroom
