Evening all,

My sore throat turned out to be tonsilitius:eek:. The antibiotics have started to kick in now though and i'm feeling a lot better but not 100%. I was doing so well as well:rolleyes:.

I haven't caught up with all the thread yet so hope all is well.

Pigpen i hope your back gets better soon.

I'm off to bed... I couldn't sleep so was working out some figures with the laptop on my lap, then suddenly came too with a jolt! :rolleyes: It was only a quick eyes shut, then jump awake kind of thing, but I think that means that I need to go to bed... so night night to anyone else still up... see you tomorrow

got up at 4am for a loo run and there was a huge puddle in the bathroom :eek:
something at the back of the toilet was dripping - all i managed was a bucket!
dh will be home soon and i'll send him to have a look.

kids woke at 5am :eek: - managed to kind of keep them in their beds till 6am and got up 20min later ....

seems like we'll be having a nice day here today :j - so i guess yet another park for us :rolleyes:


lil_me thanks for the 'thinking hat' and yes, we did consider it but not doable for us! we need the money from the sale to get us over and started!
and besides that rents have gone down here again so would maybe just cover the mortgage and what if something happens to the house which involves huge bills and we are on the other side of the continent
we want a clean cut! :rolleyes:

rosepink get a crate and dump everything of your dh in it!

Morning all

Woken up early by a smoke alarm bipping at me to say the battery needs changing. It's still bipping - I can't be bothered to find the step ladder at the moment (ceilings are 9ft 6in high!). I'll do it soon though, it's beginning to irritate.

Mozzy - hope your plumbing gets sorted soon. Have you tried looking in the cistern to see if the ballcock is stuck open?

About to set to and do the ironing.
Kitchen floor afterwards
Hoover downstairs.

Toots all lists done, had a major blitz yesterday.

Plus I planted on my seedlings, earthed up the spuds, and found another beastie that had been eating my dill!

its lovely and sunny here at the moment but is meant to be pouring rain later so will try to get the washing out and dried before lunchtime.

emily how are you feeling - hope the cold has gone and you and DH are OK. Have you managed to sort things out with your godson's mother yet? (((hug)))

rosepink keep up the good work - we told you it would get easier the more you do things you just have to keep at it- I hope you are keeping your things tidy so that you are setting Dh a good example - what Mozzy said too is a good idea.

Have to confess that I had a very bad day yesterday with my breathing and my muscles- ended up going to bed in the late afternoon so that i could use my mask, get warm and give my muscles a rest - slept for 4 hours - felt a bit better but now my meds are all to hell which isnt helping. Hoping for a better day today.

Morning everyone.

Have been up since 7 as I woke at 6 at couldnt get back to sleep. Been having a chat online with my SIL while decluttering a cuppa. Was shattered when I came in from work last night. Only got one shift this week, two the week after then a weeks holiday. Going to see mum this morning then if the weather is ok do my walk round the lake.

As I have a busy week I am going to S&S each room today.
