Can i suggest you check your credit file because if your account has gone over its limit they may have marked it down on your records. Would be worth checking it in about 4 weeks once they have updated for this month. Otherwise could have an impact for a while to come..For everthing else there's mastercard.

I've written a letter asking them to clarify whether or not they've passed information on. They are supposed to give notification, but I understand that doesn't always happen. Hopefully it will be fine! I'll keep on top of that though.0 -

I agree, after all that's happened I'll stay on it until it's all sorted for sure.0

Thats brilliant Angela, I wonder if the bank is taking the stance that if they push people over fraud cases a certain percentage will give up (either because they are dodgy or just get so upset and stressed out it is easier to back down), a certain percentage will "admit" some fault that the bank can use to get out of paying, and a certain percentage will just accept the banks word is law and accept what they say.
Chip and pin was NEVER about protecting the consumer, it is obviously to give the banks more ammo in getting out of fraud refunds. Remember as far as they are concerned they don't care if the consumer has to pay for fraud, as long as it doesn't come out of their profits.
Its like insurance companies. The whole attitude of these big companies seems to be that they will force the consumer to run around and make things hard work in hopes some will give up.
Well Done

Well done indeed! Amazing what a bit of persistence does isn't it? :beer:I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂0
