    Hi Fredz Mum,

You are now added to the list just let me know when you have an af day and I will update :D

Btw you are starting on the 13th and you are now May Member number 13 ;)

The number 13 figures alot in my life and has always been very lucky for me.

It is very strange for me and my connection or should I say my Ds's connection with the number 13, if anyone is into numerology or astroligical birth charts I would be curious as to what you would think?

Sorry for going off topic and well done again for joinng our Af May Better Me Challenge :T

    Hugs Budgie Number 5 ;)

    Hi Budget Babe

That's interesting. The number 13 has never held any fear for me, and as in your DD's case, has been quite lucky. Will let you know how I get on, the thought of posting definitely motivates me. Thanks for your help. This website is wonderful! Thinks I will join the running club next, as that has all gone by the wayside as I have other things on my mind, but onwards and upwards from now!!

I love this thread you are soooo lubbly to each other:D:D creep creep

Just popped in to discuss the price of fish and whether you can plant acers in a tub or not.............this is because I hang my head in shame re the number of AF days. I blame it all on my weakness for blue wkd and red wine. It was not me your honour my intent was good it was all down to the moon position and the bargain mse price of barcardi and coke:o:o I will however be back on track tomorrow due to the need to detox my liver and the fact I am now spent up (not so bargain a price after all:rolleyes:)

Sorry peeps I will try harder next week:o:o

Acers do fine in (big enough) pots. Although I bow to opinion of super gardeners on here (are you listening jo and fay?)

On naughty bench tonight, be back soon.

    Many thanks Budgie.:o
It is a pity that the Enya backing track has been removed.

This thread moves so fast that I am unable to keep up.
Is the current theme gnats farting in the garden whilst watching the stars?

Since I last posted I have had my 4th AF birthday. Never thought that it would be possible but it is a life or death decision.

Remember that we deal with alcohol,

    cunning, baffling, powerful!

MM - lol you make us sound like the dynamic duo - I think there's more than a few gardeners Lurking on this thread. :) eh ...................mentions of rosegardens and borders, and sweetcorn plants etc etc

And don't get me started on Jo's new gloves :)

Any yup they do fine and dandy in pots and look very pretty as well- easy peasy. Just make sure you aren't in too an exposed place cos they don't like that and if you are lucky enough to get lots of sun they prefer a bit of 'dappled shade' and aside that you will enjoy them especially when you get the lovely autumn colours they produce.

    Hi Openscreen

Well done on your four AFD. You mentioned sleepless nights, from my past experience please bear with this and it will shortly pass. Once you have got over this you will sleep like a baby. I have concerns about my own drinking, and have given up quite a few times, but lapsed. Once I've done the first three days or so I do feel better, and I find that it takes me about three weeks to no longer really crave a drink. Wish I could keep it up!! Anyway, my financial situation leaves me with no choice but to give up.

Is it too late to join this challenge for May??

Thanks for the advice. I am cutting down, only drinking at the weekend. Saturday & Sunday, perhaps. But not during the week. I have a very stressful job, which involves staying away during the week, & its very tempting whilst away to goto the pub or get cans in & drink in my hotel room. This week is my first away after deciding this, no drinks during the week. Wish me luck!
