Evenin' all. FLUFFY I saw you commented on waking with headaches. That has been my problem too since not drinking. Waking with SUCH a head pain and stifnes. Also lots o nightmares too. Not enough to drive me to drink but, you know. Very disturbing all the same.

I have just flushed an entire prescription's worth of paroxetine down h eloo - too much temptation.

Oh sweetheart I hope you are alright. I don't know much about paroxetine but am assuming it is an ant-depressant . am I correct ?

Please go to see your doctor tomorrow as withdrawal from these sort of things can cause problems.

Let us know you are alright ?

    Love

LD, hope you get a good nights sleep, start afresh tomorrow with a positive outlook if you can, everything feels better in daylight :)

Dunno how I've managed to get through tonight, OH is still up town drinking, he sounded 3 sheets but was trying to tell me he's only had 2 pints (he's been in the pub since 12pm ), he knows when he goes out on the razz, which is usually either on a Fri or Sat once or twice a month, that he has to sleep on the sofa cos I will not be woken up by drunk OH, not on his nelly mate!! So he had better adhere to the rules, cos I tell ya, if he wakes me up I will kill him in the sort of mood I'm in  very very snappy still, even feel snappy with myself

Think I might go off to bed in a minute to get an extra hour incase drunk OH wakes me up slamming the front door.

Notch me up for another when you get a chance Budge, although I know you said you won't be around today so forget that last comment, hope you're okay xx

Speak to you all tomorrow, un-hung-over'ed :D

    xx

    Hi everyone,

A not bad night as went out with friends and only had 2 drinks, so home feeling sober at a decent hour and not any damage to the bank balance/dignity which is a huge improvement.

Lillib - your post really touched me. I've not got kids but I've seen from friends how bloomin' difficult (and wonderful) being a parent can be, specially when you're a single family and the buck stops with you. Thinking of you.

    xx

Hi all- Lillibet please let us know you are OK- although paroxetine is an SSRI it's only usually prescribed for major depression, OCD, anxiety, PTSD etc. which suggests that the GP who prescribed it to you thought you have more than a mild-moderate difficulty, and were really struggling. Although you flushed them down the loo and the immediate danger isn't there, it does mean you don't have the medication your GP thought would help. Please get in to see the duty doctor at your surgery tommorrow, explain how you feel and how you have been struggling, most of all let them know if you feel so low you think you could be at risk- please do this. You sound like a wonderful, caring parent and you need to get better- we are all here to support you, and have huge respect for mums (and dads) who are having a tough time. Huge hugs to you tonight, will log on first thing and hope to hear from you.

    Hope everyone is OK tonight.
