The choklit bit I understand ... Mrs BHb is quite often out in barefoot or wellies before getting dressed  With a dressing gown of course
I always said she was a bit mad too......
Though, I bet no one else on here has woken up in the middle of the night with a newborn goat kid in the bed beside them though  Now that's mad !Embrace your inner Hillbilly

Damn .... gotta go clean up after those mucky kids now...... get them a astro turf football field and play area, they find something else to make a mess with instead of mud !
Least it will take my mind of then bells which have been ringing really really loud for the last hour .
Just had a litre of fizzy water - hope that keeps it at bay

Hello everybody, I'm back in London now and feeling hopeful about the job. They said they'd let me know tomorrow. Thanks so much to everyone for your good wishes I'm really touched! Jo Orchid Barsham Billy (Hope the wind hasn't changed while you had your eyes crossed!)Fedup and skint, Price is Right, Biglass and Yellow Monkey- you're all lovely! I bet if I get it that it will be the positive vibe power from this thread. (And my Mum's crossed everything too - must ask about her eyes!! )
Hopeful - well done on getting to goal and losing 1.5lbs. Can't all be lighter clothes - constant vigilance indeed! I remember looking at their recommended 12 - 14 points of alcohol and making excuses every week that there were other reasons I wasn't losing. Probably both booze and snacks if I'm honest.
Good news about your phone Jo, I would have been up for a right go at them on the phone if he'd gone before the slot even started! Good luck getting across London. If you see my OH at Moorgate, can you give him a lift too! He said it wasn't too bad this morning on the northern line.
I'm off for a cup of tea now. In all this excitement there's a risk of wine but an interview is a pretty big deal at the moment. Although I might not, not sure yet. I'm pleased with 6/9. This time in March I think I was still on the starting line.0 -
I've looked back to March and I 'finally fixed the faulty engine and got off the grid' on the 10th so I should be pleased with my improvements so far this year. And if anyone is still to have an AFD at this point in the month don't worry, just give it your best shot and you might be surprised what you can do over the coming months.
You lot are fab - thanks!! :T0 -

Oops. just poured myself a vodka and slimline tonic (made decision tonight wouldn't be AF, just not alcohol-mad) and thought I'd log on to confess. After two sips, am I drunk or are you lot all a little bit crazy?! :rotfl::rotfl:
So, I'm going to a friend's now. Having a very weak (honestly!) v&t, will have a couple of glasses of wine then onto the soda water. My problem is that I need to learn when to stop. The most I'll ever have is a bottle or a bottle and a half. But for me that is too much, when I can't remember all of conversations and really start not being myself. I have to drive 200 miles and also fill in a very important application form tomorrow so I'll keep this in mind. If I stuff that up, I'll be really annoyed with myself.
I'll confess all later. For the rest of you, have a great evening.0
