Biglass, you've only been gone 6 hours, how's that enough sleep

I got 9 hours sleep last night and was still knackered :D

I think us shift workers get use to it. I went to bed at 07:30 and have been up since 10. Did have a plumber coming round and it is my first day off so dont want to waste to much of it :D

    Hope everyone is well.

I totally envy your lifestyle BHB,I would love a smallholding and lots of animals, looks lovely!

Mrs BHB might argue that getting up every couple of hours during the night to feed orphaned or rejected goats or lambs in February is not so lovely, but yes most of the time it's brilliant. Obviously when Mrs BHB is bottle feeding the little ones during the night I have to stay in bed to keep it warm :rotfl:Can't see what the problem is myself :D

It is nice producing a dinner for someone that everything on the plate and everything in the pudding comes from your own smallholding.
But alas I have had to stop making beer and wine .... for obvious reasons :o

 surely everywhere is wellie weather?

No time for wellies - nothings that serious:D

(revamp of old quote from Dougal to Florence when Florence was remarkingn on an emergency in the magic round about garden)

Orginal quote goes somethign like this (d = dougal, f=florence) From the magic roundabout story where someone has stolen all of hte flowers in the magic roundabout garden......................florence bursts into dougals house early in the morning to tell him of the flower emergency

    F - Dougal dougal dougal

    D - Morning Florence - tea, toast?????

F - Its an emergency Dougal

D- one lump or two florence??

F - Dougal I tell you its an emergency and there's no time for tea

D - (outraged voice) NO TIME FOR TEA - ????????

D - (calmer voice) nothings that serious
