....another one stomps in very tired and grumpy....
Morning Fay:wave: I can't tell you how many times I've done something similar. I use my mobile for my alarm and am usually quite good at 'jumping' up out of bed as soon as it goes off. I leave the phone in the hall and go straight into the loo......this is the moment that I realise that instead of turning my alarm off, I've actually snoozed it, and then it goes off again. It always seems to go off at the exact moment of no return. What can I do? I'm on the loo and my alarm is waking the house up in the hallway? I can't move
it really irritates my OH (which it would me too
), but I as I say to him, I'm not doing it on purpose
YM, you know what, I'm wondering if you've hit on something here.....I feel like sh*t and have been taking Berocca for a month and the Tesco equivalent since the weekend. My legs are aching, my body generally hurts and I'm exhausted
I hope all the poorly one's and stressed ones are feeling better today? I am so tired, I went to bed at 10pm last night and slept soundly till 6.45am when the alarm went off but I feel I need to go back to bed again. It must be these tablets I'm on, I can't wait for this vertigo to go.
I'm off to catch up last night's posts now.
Hope you all have a good day :wave:DFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -

Morning
Happy 9/30.
Some tension in the air at work over the last few days. I'm not an uncaring sort at all (job itself is charity based) but extremely self protective these days. I really don't like b.itching. Trying to stay on the crest of this positive wave.
Fay - you are in good company, last night I tried to put the sugar in the fridge.
GC and Bis, keep it coming, these quotes bury into my subconcious.DC.

DC, sit on the fence at work, look down and watch em all b*tchin and take the high ground mate, it's not worth getting sucked in.
Congrats on your 10/30
40SM, 10/30 for me too please, we all seem to be doing fairly well on the combined total this month.DFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -
Morning all !! Just a quick hello and cheerio before I head to bed after my nightshift.Feeling loads better and positive today, despite no sleep - alcohol and the ensuing guilt definitely pulled my mood down bigtime yesterday. The thing is I know it and knew my trigger on Monday was the thought of going to work and the thought of lack of sleep ahead. So I was desperate to hit the vino, then I blow everything out of proportion the next day and plan to resign ,etc, etc:cool: Then last night was fine at work and I realise yet again that I am lucky to have a safe job in these uncertain times:o
So well done to all the AFs and cut downers:D 1 AF chalked up(even if it was enforced by work ,lol !)0 -

Good morning all!
Fay - well done on avoiding the shop. Please could you send some willpower down to me?? I was in Sainsbugs last night and spent 5 mins just gazing at the wine. Walked away without any but felt bit fed up
YM and Jo - I've been taking berocca for two weeks now. No sudden feelings of super energy or anything yet but haven't had achy legs or anything either? Guess its like with anything, suits some but not others. You could just try a B vitamin?
Budgie - hope you are feeling less tired and a bit perkier today. ((hugs))
Well, although I'm still on the alcohol free wagon, I fell off the dieting wagon yesterday. Not massively but enough to make me peed off with myself. If theres no-one behind me checking up on me I seem to have no willpower whatsoever and give in really easily. Am considering ringing my doctors - I know the dietician there runs a 12 week fat-busting plan thingummy. Maybe if I get weighed once a week by her (she looks a bit scary!) I might stay on the straight and narrow!!
((Hugs)) to all you poorly folk. Everyone have a good day!
Miss P

Isn't alcohol the famous Scottish pastime our pubs aren't really designed for anything but drinking, none of your fancy english type lovely inns and pubs here (no offence - I am Scottish after all)
Waves to the scottish contingent
And of course the other forgieners:rotfl:(no offence meant I sound english therefore I am often considered a forgiener in my own country)Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Dazed out of bed at an ungodly hour - house phone ringing at 6.25
Morning All,
We woke up to a screech and a few minutes later a sort of crunching noise
Turns out our three legged cat is not as disabled as he makes out. He had hauled a rabbit the size of himself up on to the extension roof, through the bedroom window and was merrily munching it on the en-suite shower room floor .......... Lovely !
Got out of bed to see what the noise was .... and just to show you what a nice clean household we are, let him finish up while I had my a 10 minute snooze time myself :rotfl:
I just didn't have time to clear up the mess before going to work, so had to leave Mrs BHB that one...... Damn :rotfl:
Have a great day
Lets be careful out there(Showing my age now)
BHB
