Maybe its just early days for me on the cutting down road...? Although I think I covered most of the triggers during the AF days last week, and this week is certainly challenging me as well....

I just love the feeling of waking up and not telling myself off and promising that tonight I won't drink and then stopping at the shop for that bottle...

I'm also saving the money I would have spent and am determined to raise enough (won't take long the amount I was spending...) to treat myself and best mate to a girly break... (over a weekend obviously so I can partake without missing my AFD targets..)

I've been trying without success to cut down for well over 6 months with no success at all, the inspiration is this thread. :D

Evening all! I'm finding the bells don't ring all that loudly it's just that they ring fairly regularly out of habit. I'm having a bit of a tv night tonight while putting some stuff on ebay and catching up with emails. A perfect evening for a little drinky! Problem is, I don't even need to stop off at the shop, I've got a duty-free shop in my living room.

Today is day 7 for me. I don't want to have to come back and change it later!

    Have a great evening everyone.

Lurky, do you think I'm some bloke dressed up in frilly underwear just to do my ebaying?! What an image! I would need a drinky in that case!

    You are all certifable :)

A thing I have noticed, although DONT quote me on this one

After day 2 or 3 of AFD's the bells do get a bit depleted.

However after a day of alcohol even after a month or so off - its torture

    Is it worth it?

I am slowly beginning to wonder

Not that they don't sometimes shout randomly - but in all honesty after a couple of days they aren't generally so loud or so often :)

    ok ok ok ok ok

bells are mega clanging cos I am about to leave wrok late and get takeaway on way home
    argh

    note to self

    bells dont stop clanging

do not work late then head towards shops with a card or money

    constant vigilence

Must get on. I've got to help DD3 with homework then finish off a project which I thought I'd finished, but got a bit extra to do on it today . Reminds myself of the money I'm earning and saving from being AFD :money:

But I can't watch Mary Queen of Charity Shops

At least I've got some chocklit in :T
