Orchid, unfortunately I only have a balance board too. I'm not sure a balance ball exists. But I think it's a great idea. Patent pending! Enjoy yoga. It's tough!

    A few people struggling.
Alcohol is a tough thing to give up, and sometimes we can tell ourselves it is impossible.
That's not true - people have come back from the brink of insanity and death, and stopped drinking. They wanted it enough. They were fed up of being sick and tired.
However for many of us, we don't stop/cut down when we should, and a lot of that is our perception is that our drinking is not that bad. Evidence proves otherwise.
This is a disease of perception - we tend to think the worst possible scenario is the ONLY possible scenario, and bizarrely, when it comes to our drinking, we ignore all the warning signs and carry on.
That cycle of drink > shame/guilt > fear > drink > shame/guilt > fear is not easy to stop. It can be done, and that is with hope.
    Hope and honesty
If we are honest with ourselves about our drinking, and our reasons for drinking, then we have a chance.
Having a bad day at work, or some great news, or seeing an old friend. These are not reasons to drink. We use them as reasons and that is our nature. Our nature is to be dishonest, to be in denial, and to have a skewed perception.

    Good luck people.

Evening all. Or morning for me as I work in French time :D

Settled at work, paperwork nearly done and reports posted so only another 8 hours to go  so 4 days for me now please 40sm.

Have been taken the Tesco own brand vitamin thingys and feel really tired and have a stiff back and neck. Now when I was taking the Barroccas my legs felt really tired so I am thinking that these vitamin supplements do not agree with me.

I have not had one today and feel better so I can only assume that my body is highly tuned and putting vitamins into it is like putting diesel in a F1 racing car :D

Hope you all sleep well and have pleasant dreams

    Bon Nuit

there is always hope...if you look hard for inspirations to have the life you deserve, they are there - alcohol does not help you see or appreciate them.

    constant vigilance!
For what I've done...I start again...And whatever pain may come ...Today this ends... I'm forgiving what I've done -AF since June 2007

    Morning all

Dazed out of bed at an ungodly hour - house phone ringing at 6.25

no one on the end of the phone - grumpy and mumbling I stomped back upstairs

It seems in my sleepy stupor instead of switching my iphone off I phoned my house - if I am this stupid without alcohol - I think alcohol and I are best avoided - it kills brain cells after all - looks like i might have a short supply of them anyway :)

    WHOOPS
