Hi all, another AF day for me yay. I'm so glad everyone liked the quote i thought it was perfect and i'm sticking it on my fridge! I think i could of done with that quote years ago and maybe i would have spent less time dwelling on mistakes.
I inteded to have a shower and paint nails tonight but I just played with a snowball calculator all night. I'm working out the money i can spare from nights out and afterwork drinks to go on my £3000 credit card debts and the more i calculate the more i want to do it. So much fun. Haha sad i know.
Tried to drink water today to aim for a healthier lifestyle but it's not worked. I'm terrible for water intake always getting dehydrated.
To those trying the pampering good on you! It's so nice to do something for yourself and when you see your nice shiny nails looking at you the next day when things aren't going so well it gives you a lift. I like to do a 10 min facemask when i finish work for the week on tuesdays to feel fresh and i look less knackered! haha. I even got my otherhalf some moisturiser as a prezzie a few months back to use after he tidys up his beard and face. bless him he loves it.

:hello:
Seems like a good AF night all round. Well done everyone!!!
I did succumb to some cheese and a glass of full fat pop. I havent done too badly on that score as it's lemonade left over from Christmas. I've mainly been coping on tap water but I no longer feel the need to constantly have a glass in my hand so that's progress. Tonight was difficult in anticipation as all the radio/TV adverts seemed to be reminding us get the booze in to watch the footie. Tonight may be my only AF night this week as lots on.
AF2 please BB.0 -
we swear by fizzy water - 13p from Mr T - and oodles of different flavour cordial (we pretend its posh squash) - then we takes our fancy and makes our own fizzy pop.
Some evil mum in our house doesn't let fizzy pop in the house - my children are soooooooooooooooooo deprived
Maman well done on the leftover fizzy lemonade.
Not that this is relevant to those AF but I read about this in our local paper -
Dunno about everywhere else - but here where I live - they have introduced new drink driving policy - if you are caught over the limit by even a tiny bit- you spend the night in the cells until you can be seen at court - and you have to be seen at court they don't just caution you anymore - so anyone caught on Friday of a bank holiday - stays in the cells til Tues am when the local court is open.
Certainly would make me think about driving the next morning if I had drank alot of wine - scary.
Best stick to fizzy water (or lemsip in my case)

Morning
The wagon was very bumpy last night around 6 pm, got through it with good ol' Yorkshire tea, and a quick look on here to see Jo was struggling too. Was 75% set on driving into town for Stella until I read the latest posts.
So all good, 9 days AF free.DC.

Morning all :hello:
BB another AFD for me (5 in total).
Well done everyone . We all seem to be truly getting into the spirit of BB's well-being Challenge.
Thank you BB you are an angel:A. You are certainly taking this role very seriously.
I am treating myself to a haircut as I have not had one for such a long time. My hair is therefore verrry long and is in need of a good chop. My husband ( and my kids come to think) really like me with long hair so my DH's parting words were don't get it any shorter . But I am going to the hairdressers to get it cut- its bound to be shorter ! To be honest even when I just ask for a trim I come out nearly scalped . So keep your fingers crossed that DH & DSs like the new hairdo. Anyway I am looking forward to the long awaited pamper > I bet it rains !
Have a great day everyone

Apologies in advance for the depressing post...
Feel off the wagon in a spectacular style last night, to cut a long story short, I'm still ill, Doc gave me another load of antibiotics yesterday as the last lot didn't work and an inhaler to take cos I can't breathe, I haven't got asthma, he said he thinks it might be broncitius. Then got home and OH & DD1 were arguing, OH is frustrated cos DD1 makes up stupid stories so that she can see more of her boyfriend (she pretended she didn't have her key so couldn't get in and had to wait for one of us to get in, but then we discovered that she had put the post up on the side which came after she had left for school, so we know she had been in at some point!) even though she's grounded (she stayed out till 4.30am last week!!) and so she snuck out of the house and I couldn't find her and she wouldn't answer her phone. Eventually tracked her down at boyfriends house but she refused to come come and then OH and her started phone/text arguing. I just had enough and got drunk.
Problem was she finally decided she would come home and talk about it past midnight last night, by this time I'm obviously over the limit so refused to go pick her up saying that I was in my pajamas and not getting dressed. They obviously didn't know I'd been drinking so I looked like a complete nutter refusing to go cos of my PJ's! It cost ME £20 to get her a cab home, which is out of my rent money which I can't pay back.
Got to get the prescription for the medicine today but haven't got £14.40 to get it
Oh, and I have the hangover from hell (no sympathy, self-inflicted), my excema has flared up and my insides hurt. I have no paracetamol in the house, just took some Berocca so hopefully that might give me a boost?
Pah....sorry allDFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -

Hugs, teenagers don't come with troubleshooting FAQ's or user manuals do they? You too have a lot on your plate. My eldest son - 14 - says I'm the glue in this family and it sounds like you are too. But then it's easy to take on responsibility and blame for everything that happens in the family - then I guess the self sabotage rule comes into play.
Sending you postive vibes and wishing you a good day.DC.
