    I have to post what I was thinking earlier cos I just can't quite believe it (and no, Fay, I know how your mind works, you and your wellies and stuff :rolleyes:).

    I actually thought to myself, I can have just 1 or 2 drinks tonight because my liver isn't actually properly damaged, if I just have a drink today but then stop tomorrow it's not gonna make any difference to my liver cos the function test was okay.

    :confused::confused::confused: what am I on???

    It's true alcohol is such powerful stuff that makes your brain think things that are out of your control.

    Gosh Jo that's really surprised me, cos up to this point you've given the impression that for the moment at least you're quite happy / relaxed about not drinking. It is indeed scary how insidious it is. What was going on when you had the thought? Was it very early in the day? (not during Corrie or 'endres by chance, both full of booze tonight, as per...)
