Dot Cotton = DC = Me ! Scary, especially when I have a cigarette - no not stopped that yet either. Anyway I failed again last night, watching BGT, it is something about Saturday nights and a lager.

115K I have heard that too about the sugar cravings, I remember Denise thingy off of Loose Women said she had stopped drinking but had replaced the booze with cakes! I know that I suffer quite badly if my blood sugar is low so I buy in oat cakes and porridge and stuff that I know is low gi food, I have found in the past that has helped me lose a bit of weight without trying too much...maybe those types of foods would be good when trying to remain af...

Oh really.:T Well I have tried it for one day at least. I will see how I get on with it. I need to do some more shopping so I have the right foods in the cupboards. I had porridge for breakfast today.

Well done to you all on your own personal achievements this month, i have managed 7 AF days and planning to hit my target of 8 today so will let you know. Although i dont post as regular as some of you guys it doesnt mean that i dont think of you all and how you are doing, as ive said before i love the fact that we all reach out to one another when the going gets tough. Without this thread i wouldnt have really given myself a target for this month, its amazing what the power of committing to something online has done for me. I will post again tomorrow with my target for June once ive had a chance to wake up properly ..i need more tea!!
Hope you all have a fabby Sunny Sunday

Right woke up naturally early today feeling ok after an AF weekend.

Day 24 for me today :jand there is no chance of me having a drink - nothing to open a bottle with!

I've missed my target by 2 days. Instead of this getting me down a la my name I'm feeling positive :D and I am going for an AF June  :rotfl:
    making my total 30 AFDs
I'm giving it a go and I've prepared by taking the bottle of wine out of the fridge with the cork half out (but still closed!). No temptation to stare at it when I open the fridge. I'm putting off buying a cork screw for a bit longer.

Will need to stock up on squash and pop and juice to temper the water a little.

Decision made now and stated loud and clear on here! Should be ok, ready for the ups and down and the usual effects of the moon in a week or so!

Not been around much - sorry guys:o Have kept up with the thread though.
Sorry BB - will have to declare at only 4 days this month. Have slipped up badly with AF, NSD's, GC etc. etc.
BUT.... tomorrow is another brand new, shiny month and I have the reins firmly back in my hands. Spent an hour or two yesterday getting the budget back in order, meal plans all done, fridge re-stocked etc.

40SM - I have given much thought to June's target. It's going to be a difficult month for me as, fingers crossed, our house move will take place. I have spent half-term week clearing out the garage/loft/black-hole-under-the-stairs and the skip is groaning under the weight of umpteen sacks of 'stuff' - where does it all come from:confused: I am having to leave my beloved vegetable garden, but have put as much as I can in pots to take to the new house. I think I will try for 10 again - it's a nice, round number:rotfl:and I am feeling a lot more positive now that I can achieve it.

Also, just wanted to thank you all for being here - even though you don't realise the help you are giving me, I couldn't do it without you all:A
