Sea, it's hard to give up straight away, things do start coming back to you, some of them not very pleasant. i don't think there's any way round it, you just have to get it out and deal with it. If you can, put a limit on what you'll drink tonight and then just try again tomorrow. No-one gets there first time.

Hi all - will try and catch up in a bit
Hope everyone is ok
Well I managed a giant whoopsie tonight - drank when out for a meal with OH - been a really tough week (oh excuses excuses!!).
OH tried to tell me i wouldn't want a drink and it will make me think more about having one tomorrow (all true) but it didnt' stop me, kid/sweetie shop.
Was also going to order wine with dinner but thought to myself I don't enjoy wine with food - i enjoy wine and I enjoy food. So I stuck with water, but there you are after almost a month of being diligent, without thought a gin and tonic slipped down my chops.
Sorry BB and all - least (I tell myself) I only had one.
Hugs SEA xx well done those of you being on the good step rather than the naughty bench like me.

On the positive side it might as well have been tonic - sorry jo - waves I am sure no one looks like that lady on here.
I need to watch out when I go out don't I? What an idiot - almost a whole month arghghghghghghghhghghghghghghghghghgh
Onwards - hope whoever's lost there hair finds it.
Prefer my feet being touched and stroked to my head* but then again that's a whole other story and probably the wrong thread

Sea ((())) hugs sweetheart and this was never going to be easy but you have been to the meeting again which is another step forward. You are bound to have thoughts that are one's you would rather forget. We can all understand this and know how you feel.
Tomorrow is a new day and just concentrate on one day at a time. You will get there and we will all be here for you, willing you to succeed and to support you whenever you need us?
God bless Angel and be kind to yourself.
Budgie xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Fay hugs to you and on the positive side you have only had the one drink. Well done on stopping at just one and you have done brilliantly this month. One drink doesn't change that you know.
Hugs and take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Pricey thanks for the update and I hope all is well now at home? Good luck to your daughter in her exams, she will be fine. Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxCherish the ones you love and travel back on the road that brings you home

bb thank you so much - I wanted to be better than this.
I just got to thinking how I've treated people around me while drinking and I couldn't take the shame and the guilt anymore so in a way I need abuse not support. I have a feeling that I'll contact my 'boyfriend'who loves me but actually only knows the !!!!ed me to come round for whatever as long as he brings drink.
I am a deeply horrible person.CCCS DMP:Feb 07
