Wow, so many people are doing brilliantly -well done.

Lillibet, good luck with 10. That was the first number I managed to hit and it helped me that it was enough to be a big achievement but not so many that it looked impossible. Good luck!

FUAS, good luck for June!! 115k, well done, that's an amazing result!

Like Fay, I had a wobble last night. Unlike Fay I can't claim to have had just the one. Not even the one bottle!! :rotfl: My stomach and poor quality of sleep last night are reminding me this drinking thing isn't all it's cracked up to be! AF for me today I hope.

    Good morning all

Sea : Well done on going. Its not going to be easy but that was a huge step to take and you've done it! Well done. Lots off ((hugs))

Fay: At least your wobble was controlled. Mine wasn't (see below!). You've done so well this month you should still be proud.

Well I had a MAJOR wobble last night and am feeling quite ashamed of myself this morning. Was meant to be doing a car boot. Was up early enough and was actually sat in car before it dawned on me I was probably still way over the limit. Plus my stomach was really upset. So came back indoors. OH has just unloaded it all back into the garage.

Last night I got through a bottle of wine and three lagers. For someone who is moaning she has no money I always seem to find it to buy alcohol.
Ths morning I felt like carp (unsurprisingly!) and the kitchen looked like a tornado had hit it. I made sausage sandwiches at 10pm last night. No wonder I'm overweight too!!

Am so tired of this. I just can't have alcohol in the house. No matter how much is there I will keep drinking it till its gone. All reason goes out the window. Its ridiculous.

OH is lovely - he agreed this morning that I've got to stop. Tried the cutting down but it isn't working. How the hell do I stop though when I appear to have no willpower!? Well, one thing I'm going to do is give OH my bank card. I will keep a couple of pounds on me of a day and will make lists for when I need shopping and only take enough with me to get what I need. I can't afford to do this anymore....either in money or in my health I think.

Sorry to ramble. I seem to do this on a regular basis!

Morning all... hopefully off the bench today to hit my target. MAde sure there wasn't a stray tin left over to call me later on.

Good luck to everyone today and well done to those that have acheived something, no matter how small, this month.

Started doing a Budgie-length post then with personals, but deleted :o not sure how they'd be taken. But be good to yourselves and if you're giving yourself a hard time, cut yourself some slack ;):)

    Miss P,
I seem to acheive this status aswell. No money but a find a few quid for some lagers. It sounds - and feels - bad to admit that.

I have lager in the fridge that will be consumed tonight. Then that's it.
I'd really like to go throughtout June without partaking.

  • Morning All,
Tough afternoon for me. The outlaws are over for a bbq, they normally bring a shed full of bottles. I very nearly caved last night and thought about having a couple of beers, but managed to steer clear in the end.
    Fingers crossed for later.

Still... I'm getting my own back. They are really big meat eaters, so we've done them a load of veggie stuff :D.

    Have a good one everyone

Have not been af tonight and had more than I planned :o ...

Me too and furious with myself - I forgot to take Kudzu tablets yesterday, and I'm sure they worked last time I allowed myself to drink, as I managed to stop after a few. I had a really horrendous headache and nausea this morning when I woke up - I suppose it shows that my body is no longer used to that sort of abuse.

I'll have achieved my 24 AF days target though after tonight, so changing signature now :j:j:T

40SM - hope you are all feeling much better now. I'm going to UP my target to 26 AFDs for June, please.

BB - thanks for the lovely message of support again :A. DD1 is working very hard for her AS exams, so hopefully will do well. The only thing is, DD2 and DD3 feel DD1 is getting too much attention and that I consider their exams to be less important :confused::confused: Not true, I try to give them all equal attention ...:wall:

    Have a lovely day everybody.

  • Just realised that a few of us had major and minor wobbles last night - it must be the hot weather. We Brits are just not used to hot sun.

Well it's hot today too - NO EXCUSE - we'll just have to get used to it
