That looks gorgeous Vikki!!
I had another good haul at the car boot this morning. Bought a little compressor and paint sprayer for £1 - needs some work (luckily I have an obliging OH!) but will be great for painting furniture.
I also got a gorgeous vintage ironing board, really retro fabric! I'll post a pic asap.0 -
Your bedroom looks lovely and fresh. I love the little shelves. And the bed is to die for. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0

Vikki, that's so so pretty!
Makes me want to go and do mine now ...Oh dear, here we go again.0 -
Here's my new little ironing board! There's a close up of the fabric here too. I'm pretty sure it's vintage, although the actual board seems to be made of some kind of laminated wood? The colours are so vibrant and gorgeous, I love it!0 -
Oh wow, we think so alike, I bought 6 single sets, just put 2 on the girls beds today and the other 4 will do to make 2 sets of curtains and some left over material to recover the broken chest of draws( going to make a front cover with pole at bottom to weight it down), I love the set, only wish I could get it in Kingside for my bed. Curtains look lovely, you did a good job xx-Princess-Vikki-x wrote: »I've just finished making a set of curtains from the Tesco floral duvet set that was posted here on the Grabbit board. I bought 4 sets @ £1.95 each!! 2 sets for a pair of curtains, and 2 sets to make a double out of (as they came single only).
Now I have a lovely set of curtains to match the bed setI will try and post photos soon, I'm so pleased
I've spent all week redecorating my bedroom 'shabby chic' to match these! lol but it was such a bargain!!x

Vikki, that is gorgeous. Make sure you have a nice soak in a gorgeous scented bath before bed to really fit the theme. If you can bear to close your eyes I'm sure you'll sleep really well in a room like that.
I love the board cover, something like that may even tempt me to iron. But then again I wouldn't want to mark the cover but it would look lovely in the corner.0 -

This is so vibrant and cheerful. I was just looking at your blog and I love the chair you did for your office. I have parker knoll fireside chair that I want to recover in patchwork style. I am looking for some lovely material just like that on your office chair or alternatively some lovely silks and velvets with ribbons to link. Anyway I have the idea in my mind but no idea where to start looking for the materials. I dont want to spend a fortune as I am on a tight budget.
Any ideas welcome. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -
