Wow, there are some lovely bits on here, Princess your bedroom is looking fab, rather envious! I love your new ironing board bibbitybob I wouldn't use it either, just prop it in the corner to be admired.

This is so vibrant and cheerful. I was just looking at your blog and I love the chair you did for your office. I have parker knoll fireside chair that I want to recover in patchwork style. I am looking for some lovely material just like that on your office chair or alternatively some lovely silks and velvets with ribbons to link. Anyway I have the idea in my mind but no idea where to start looking for the materials. I dont want to spend a fortune as I am on a tight budget.
    Any ideas welcome.

All my fabrics were Cath Kidston and much of it was donated by a very kind lady, although some came off ebay. There are a lot of companies who do 'CK style' fabric - Globaltex, for example. I'd suggest ebay as a place to start or maybe ask on your local freecycle?

  • Got my subscription copy of Easy Living today - there's a free Cath Kidston shopping bag with it and CK catazine which has the price of £1.50 on it. I don't have pictures but you may want to keep your eyes open when you next go past the magazines.

How do you order fabric samples? I've looked but couldn't work out how and I would like a few so I can decide which fabric I want for my kitchen curtains.

It took me ages to figure out too, but you go on the fabric page, then click on the pattern that you like. It sdhould have a red box saying 'add to bag' and if there's a sample available, underneath there's a blue box saying 'request sample'. I don't think samples are available on all the fabrics all of the time though so it's just a case of going through them all to see which ones have the box. Kandipandi I love that mirror!
