Ha ha, isn't that the point of ebaying stuff though?!!

I list stuff and then spend all the money I 'might' get back on lots of new things! :D

I can't buy anything at the moment as we're selling and downsizing - it is totally against my nature not to shop :o

I moved only recently and it was awful just thinking no more spending until you get in! But on the plus side i had money put aside for furniture and the like and i managed to get all my crockery from cath kidston. Its good because it now means i look after them much more than i used to!

Im terrible for the old list and spend mentality. Almost like, well.... it's not come out of my monthly budget so it doesn't count!

Lovely day today here. Just took my cat out in the garden. Lovely sunny day! Odd for Scotland!

I have just spent some of my eBay profit on a new bracelet from eBay... it is so gorgeous and only £6! I think I deserve a little treat for all my hard work (and I haven't listed even 1/3 of my stuff yet!).

That sounds good :) I do like a little piece of jewelry!

I need to get a new sewing machine. When i moved i lost my power supply of the old one and now it is useless- can't even get a replacement! :(

Oh well. Will need to order one into the john lewis shop and hope for the best!

    Enjoy your ebaying!!!

I will! It is hard work photographing and listing everything but it will all be worth it when it's done and I have more space and more money! :D

    Hi Tara,
To save time re ebay, I take pics on my phone then click 'send to web' which sends them to Flickr.
Once on Flickr I simply 'save as' onto desktop - less hassle with cables etc. So much easier to then do the ebay auctions... I also have a template file for the 'postage etc' for the end bit of each auction.

Planning to paint next weekend on Saturday but being Valentines it may not happen...
Today on Freecycle I managed to get a cast iron cookery book stand reserved which will look nice with the shabby chic look, I have yet to see what the item actually looks like, so fingers crosssed... Amy Daczyn would be proud - I am using Freecycle to the max to get the look I want, for free, whilst trading with others...

I have given away a lot of things on freecycle and hope that all the people who take my items will love them and use them as much as I did - its a fantastic resource.

I gave away a very heavy victorian fire surround yesterday that was desperately in need of some tlc. We were given it and thought we'd restore it but never found the time - hopefully, its new owner will.

That fire surround sounds lovely :) i gave away an old printers tray (the ones with all the little compartments) it was my plan to make it into a wall display but never got round to it. I would love to see what they did with it!

Freecycle is the way to go that's for sure!
