What a kind offer polly :)

Vikki - I know what you mean about bumping into ex's! Glad to hear you were looking good this time ;)

I've had a mix of a lazy day - nice long bath this morning and a fair bit of sitting around, and a busy day - trip to B&Q to buy tiles for bathroom and top coat on the bureau, including stripping down and doing all coats on the drawers. I've also done the hand painted detail on the front so tomorrow it will all need distressing and wiping over with a stain, then I should be able to share! I'm quite excited :o as it's a little bit different to what I usually do (still painted in F&B dimity though ;) ). Fingers crossed it works!! I'm just so impatient I want to have finished it already.

With the napkins I just painted on watered down PVA - maybe about 2 parts glue to 1 water but it wasn't measured lol. Then put a layer of napkin, then painted over the top. It's a kind of wrinkly finish but I like it.

I think we need photos of the drawers!

And I have got a 'nearly finished' photo - all the handles and locks are back on, it just needs distressing and waxing to tone it down a bit. But I'm not sure if I should share or be patient until I've finished tomorrow

I'm showing it on the condition that you all understand that it still needs work! I'm going to tone down the UJ so it looks more vintage, but I'm pleased with it so far (although it's been the easy bit!). There's a fab tea towel I've put on my blog that I'd love to buy to frame above it, but I think we'll be framing some of OH's photos of London there instead.
