I maybe said I would put them up and trying to do so got the better of me anyway tghey are there now - they are tall arent they - we have an intranet in work and there is a classifieds notice board online - got them through this - am using them in the conservatory for the kids bits and bobs0 -
I cant believe how satisfying it is to be honest - I get a real buzz out of it - look at all old furniture completely differnetly now - quite mad with myself actually - we sold last year all our pine furniture that we had collected since getting married 15 years ago - we saved and bought each piece all from same company - but I got fed up of pine ....darn it and it was sooo solid - we sold it all for £300 there was a couple of grands worth there = aaagh jumps up and down so mad now - oh well - we live and learn - cant do nowt about it nowso much more rewarding to have made it pretty yourself.0 -

Not quite as exciting as I wanted it to be. The embroidery took ages, but I have plans to use this in other forms. It is called Amish embroidery or 'Chicken Scratch' and looks fabulous up close.
Any car boots today? I want to see some bargains even if I can't get any!

Thanks for the kind comments about my cupboards. I went through a phase of painting all sorts of things but haven't done any for a while. I'll dig out some photos but they're mainly printed ones which I'll have to scan. Here's one off the computer though of a watering can I painted with frogs and tadpoles on (and a ladybird on the handle).

I've decided to go back to the beginning of the thread so I don't miss any of your gorgeous finds and makes and I'm only up to page 26 so it may take some time!0
