Just got back in froma very looooong meeting! Danemi glad you got your machine sorted!
Shirlgirl, yes it's Boreham, we may have seen each other there! I'm going next Sunday too on my own so can do some proper searching.
It starts early - too early for me but I got there about 8:45 and left at 10:45 which is usually not a bad time to go I think. There is another one at Saddlers Farm on a Sunday but I've never tried it.

Pennib, lovely drawers, yes please to more pictures!

Vicki, in case you try and go at the weekend, if it's the same Saddlers farm one near Basildon/Canvey, (can there be 2 of the same name?) it's on a Saturday not a Sunday.

I've been lurking for a while, watching eveyone else make gorgeous goodies, as I haven't done anything much creative during the hot spell. I do have that trolley table, a pine bedside table and a magazine rack to do. I'd been looking for a magazine rack for ages, I buy one, then I see LOADS of nicer ones , oh well.

I'm going to be working on a couple of crafty bits for a country show at the weekend. I've been saying for years that I will enter something but never have, now I've signed up to enter 3 baking classes and 3 handicraft classes eek! I'm sure I won't win any prizes but I'll be doing what I promised myself.

Hmmm, no I didn't mean Saddlers farm did I. I might have to try that one though, is it any good?
Maybe it's Wheeler's Farm I mean? It's near Channels Golf Club.

Here is one that was done years ago. Its two small chest of drawers on top of each other, although it does look like one large one.

Aw you all seem to get such good bargains. I usually pride myself on being a good bargain hunter but when it comes to furniture I'm just rubbish :(
Thanks for all the suggestions re: bookcase a few pages back. I've already got two of the Billy ones which are full (but they're in black) but I want to replace them with something a bit more 'rustic' looking. My OH is very fussy and won't buy any furniture without actually seeing it which means that Ebay is kinda out of the question :(
I kinda missed out on the introductions a couple of pages back but I might as well put mine in now.
I'm 21 and in September will be starting a PGCE in Secondary English. I live with my OH (who is very fussy and won't allow pink or flowers in the house) and a 10 month old Beagle who I basically treat like he was actually my son. I'd properly describe my style as 'rustic' and 'homely' as I'm banned from pink and flowers but I'm still trying to make the house look warm and inviting (on a very tight budget).
Oh, and I'm an absolute bookworm, I can never give a book away or stand to see them looking lonely so am constantly on the look out for more bookcases
    xxxx
Just started cashback-ing - makes me feel less guilty when I impulse buy!

That is so funny I got there at 9 and left at 11 so yes we must have seen each other! OH takes the kids to their swimming lesson and drops me off on the way so I don't have much flexibility on time. Don't grab all the treasures this week, leave some for me!
