Oh Debbsi what a bargain, wtg girl :)

Well done Debbsi, Bugg I love your name, it made me laugh and reminded me of my Nana's nickname for me. I also remember being whacked around the head when my Mum heard me calling my dolly that when I was about 10. I didnt know!!!!

Stop talking abot car boots:mad:you know I want to go:rotfl::rotfl:.

Princess Vicki I am dead jealous of your c.kidston win. Its beautiful, have just the spot if you get it and dont like it:D

Debbsi that is a bargain I bet you're well chuffed. Are you going to leave it as is or do something else with it?

RainyWednesday; Sure you can keep it in your ideas folder as long as it comes out of the folder and onto some furniture:rotfl:
This is what the threads for to encourage people to have a go and get creative. If it doesnt work, overpaint and off ya go again:D The green paint is a darker shade on top of lighter green and while the top coat is still wet you put slightly crumbled newspaper on, lightly press and then whip it off. It leaves a nice pattern. hth

PrincessVix; Sorry your OH doesnt like pink OR flowers(boo hiss) is there anything we can say to persuade him differently:D
Still, I have got a lot of white in my cottage (mainly cos its a bit dark but also cos I am in that period after being through all the others:rotfl:) but it allows me to mix and match stuff in a large range of colours. I like books as well but I do get rid of some of them otherwise we wouldnt get through the door!

I have some other photos will have a root around and post. They were shown on another forum so apologies to anyone who has already seen them.

Few bargains at the boot sale on Sunday :)

    This was £1

This is a little box - you can change the "picture" in the front but I like the one that's there at the moment - £2

    heartbox.jpg

and this is a little "bureau". It's about 12" high. £1

I'm going to paint the letter rack. The other things I will leave as they are I think :)

Pennib - :)I was going to recover it but as its tapestry I think it would be a shame to cover up the hard work, so I think i may paint the legs to match the sideboard which I am currently painting, this is what it used to look like:

Note the price I paid - £5.50!!!!!!!!!!!! Think it will end up in farrow and ball blue grey.

i also got this a couple of weeks ago - I absolutley love it - its so comfy:

The chair is staying as it is - but I may paint the legs to match sideboard and footstool.

So my conservatory is coming along nicely - need some cheap fabric to make cushions now, when its all finished I will post some photos

Bibbly - I love that bureau - I went to a cb on sunday but came away empty handed
Pennib - did you paint that yourself??
