Natc - I love what you have done with the wallpaper. That mirror will look lovely when it is done. I really like the colour of the bathroom. Do I spy that you live in a 1930 house from the picture of the mirror. I sold my 1930 semi last year (the doors in your piccie look like my landing) to move to Wales and now live in a 1990's semi, I do miss my old house very much and long to move back into an older house. Much more cosy (even though it was bigger)

danemi1/bibbly - dont worry - cant wait to do them and show ya the outcome! :j
debbsi - i went to CB with a friend, when i saw the laundry basket and loved it and wanted it right that second (!!!) my friend said that her friend had one and had got it from a CS last yr with the cushion on it but was tatty for £10.00. So im please with my £3 bargain :j but mine doesnt have a cushion with it, if it did id have prob replaced it anyway. But the brass brackets on top, there is about an inch gap where the cushion should be. Maybe you could try adding a cusion to yours?

ooooh cant wait to get going with my finds, going to be a few weeks though, work full time and camping for the next few weekends.

Well, i may aswell introduce myself while were on the subject - Im 26yrs (although i probably sound double my age after this description of myself!) I live with my Fiance, weve been together nearly 6 yrs, got engaged last Sept, trying to organise a wedding for next year, but thats a different story! We live with our cat George. We enjoy camping :j Im into sewing (addicted to the Sewing Room on MSE also!), ive taken up knitting to knit a cardy for my OH's sister's baby whos due in Sept, not knitted since i was about 8! I also like cross stitching and reading. Its really nice to see the other people who are like minded and enjoy all the crafty things i do, and are the same age. :)

Oh yes, I forgot to say I got my samples (well 4 of them) from JL over the weekend. They are a decent size so I will be thinking how to use them up. They are really lovely textured fabrics, I might actually consider ordering some.

Hi - Janebo - I've been to bury several times this weekend - stocking up with meat and fish from the market - trying to bulk buy, hopefully to save myself some pennys. When does the new shopping centre open - it looks huge??

Deb - the new shopping centre is due to open on 16th July - so next Friday - we will then have a Debenhams, new Marks and Spencer and a Primark plus some other shops, then also a cinema, bowling alley and restaurants - so you'll have to come back and have another look :D.

I like Bury market as well, there is a good fabric stall on the outdoor market, not too far from the meat and fish bit!

Right, off to go and strip some more wallpaper in my bedroom!

    Have fun everybody!

natc that metal table is lovely!

I popped into B&Q at Lakeside tis morning on the offchance there was any CK paint left (there wasn't). But they did have a stack of 125ml tester pots of Fired Earth paints, mostly in off white shades. They were marked up as 30p each so I picked up 5, when they went through the till one was 30p and the rest were 1p each  so the lovely till lady overode the 30p one and I got all 5 for 5p! She even suggested I went back for more, so 24p later ..... I have enough for a couple of little projects I have lying around.

Oh forgot to say that there was quite a lot of wallpaper there for £2 a roll. Mostly large designs or textured stuff, but decent makes. These were on the normal wallpaper aisle, not the reduced bit.
