Here is the book rack I made for the top of my fridge. It's a cheapy shelf from B&Q with the supports fixed onto the sides to stop the books falling off.

:T Oh my god you're a genius! I have been laying all my books flat on the fridge so they don't fall off, but they are a pain to get down when I need them. I have an old shelf in the cupboard thats about the right size. Yours is very pretty!

    Pine Clock 50p
    Wind up Alarm Clock £1.

I will put some photos on again once they are prettied up.
Great bargains you got there, Vicki. Love the clocks. I keep looking for an old wind-up alarm clock with bells, but haven't got lucky yet.

Bet your little boy loves the house. I remember taking my youngest son to toys'R'us when he was about 4 (he's now 21), just a few weeks before Christmas. Out of all the toys on display, he made a beeline for a Little Tykes dolls house. So, as he was so fascinated with it, that's what he got for Christmas :)

I went for a mooch around the local charity shops this morning, and picked up an old wooden dining chair for £4. We haven't got a computer chair, so I though I'd give it a lick of paint and recover the seat. Should certainly be better than using this white plastic patio chair that I'm sat on at the moment, anyway:D

A few bits I bought this week. Letter rack and mug tree £5.99 and £4.99 TK Maxx and Clock £3.79 Wilkinson.

I know I should have tried the boot sale but I couldn't resist and am in an impatient impulsive mood this week! Plus my new mugs are far to gorgeous to live in the cupboard.

morrisons have a clock just like that, but i think it has numbers instead of the roman ones. i looked at it , was gonna buy it and thought no i'll wait till dresser all finished, but i regret not getting it. So next time i'm there i will, it is a truely lovely shape and style.

Shame that I'm not in Essex.

I just went back and looked at his other things. Wow, love the dining chairs especially the arts and crafts, love the plank top table that would be gorgeous done up and I LOVE the chaise.

Wish I lived in Essex - Never thought I would say that:eek: (I shout round the corner of the door ready to do a runner before I am accosted by all the Essex ladies:rotfl:)

Shirlgirl, I won that table! I'm so excited about making it look lovely. I now need to get mine on ebay sharpish or we won't have room to move here.
I'm glad that I've finished painting the kitchen and can focus on this.
