I went to a tiny boot sale today with only 6 stalls, but I did find treasure in the form of a sewing box on casters and a wicker tray that I am going to shabby up as my first projects. I'll post some photos when I have finished.0

My first SC project. The ugly twin and her gorgeous sister.
I used 3 coats of a cheapy emulsion and a tester pot of Farrow and Ball in String. Now I know what all the fuss about F&B is all about, it's amazing stuff! I'm off to Homebase tomorrow to get some for the bathroom woodwork and the other chair.
Anyone know if John Lewis will sell half a metre of fabric insted of a full metre?
Loving everyone's makes. They are all gorgeous.
Essex Girl-your chair looks great. I have 4 to "do up" but have been putting it off as I dont know how to cover the seats. Please can you tell me how you did yours?
thanks a lot0 -

I am heading off to a car boot sale today. I am too lazy to go early in the morning so will go after lunch. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -

I bought some lovely floral mugs in 5 different patterns by Copeland & Garrett for 75p each in TJ Huges, they are gorgeous, will post a piccie in a bit.
Also my B&Q (Chelmsford) had the Cath Kidston matt emulsion 2.5 l tins reduced to clear too! had white linen and apple green so I picked up both as I'm sure it will come in handy at some point, I managed to pick up the Wilko birds a large and small for my bathroom, they match my oil burner perfectly. I also found a cute little ceramic japanese girl in there. I will put photos on I promise...
Laura Ashley have 50% off lots of wallpapers which expires today, I'm going to order some duck egg floral vinyl for the bathroom while it is in budget!0 -

Was meant to do a carboot sale today but it got rained off (again!) so started cutting up that gingham top to make shabby chic hearts but the cats kept coming over and sitting on top of it and playing hide and seek under the fabric :rotfl: Finally managed to cut out 16 hearts, am going to back with plain red or white fabric to make them go further and put them away to sell at Christmas Fairs.
Yesterday I bought these from a market/car boot sale for the grand sum of £2.50
I was thinking of hunting around car boots and things for some more of the tiny teacups to make into teacup candles to sell at craft fairs, there were quite a few around the stall where I got these from but I didn't think of it at the time. It was one of those stalls where there was rows and rows of boxes on the ground that were absolutely crammed with glassware all chucked in so you had to have a good rummage around, bet I could find tons of pretty teacups if I looked hard enough!D'you know, in 900 years of space and time, I've never met anyone who wasn't importantTaste The Rainbow :heartsmil0
