newmee, that stool looks fab! What a great idea using the tea towel.

No shabbying going on here, just a little de-shabbying as I pack pretties. It looks like we're hoping to get a completion date between 18th June-4th July, which is quite exciting.

Had some bad news regarding my job last week and it's taking all my energy to keep getting out of bed every morning at the moment. I'm having to work every hour I can at the moment in order to squirrel some money away, but that will hopefully mean I'll be able to spend more time at home and concentrating on my freelance work and bargain shabby chic decorating come September

Wow I adore the footstool,really gorgeous :T I used a teatowel from primark this week and made this cushion,along with some fabric I got for my b'day

WOW - Britain has talent! Well done everyone. I love the footstool, cushions and bags etc I showed my friend today this site quickly - she has gone home to read it all with a cup of tea lol. I wont hear from her for a while! You are all inspirational. Keep smiling x

I love this thread - am finding myself more and more adicted each day into this style - have always liked pretties - and love love laura ashley style and then discovered Cath Kidston - now I am just blog hopping lots of shabby chic style blogs for more ideas - love everyones work on here - keep posting all the lovely piccies - its wonderful!

i love this thread! im going charity shop hunting tomorrow! (i went today but only managed to get a rugby top for OH and some shorts!) cant wait til i get a car so i can get furniture bargains too!

That spice rack is SO cute Twinkle! Where did you get the spice jars from, are they CK?

And, oh, I wish I could sew. Unfortunately I was a tomboy at school and hated being forced to make a skirt, of all things. By the time I had made it, I'd grown too big to wear it!
