Yes, how sweet. What does the writing say?i am so mega chuffed, spent the afternoon at parents in law with the family and my mil showed me how to do patchwork. i've now made a really beautiful cushion for in my lounge. i'm gonna buy some material now to make some more. i loved making it , and it only took couple of hours. was so relaxing doing it. i'll post a pic up tomoz . i'm just so proud of it.

I thought Ballyclare from the Rashee reference in your photo album! What brought you to the wilds of Ballyclare from Belfast then?
When are those auctions on? St George's Market (Friday) is the only antique place I know, I am so clueless about all that stuff, do you know of any decent car boot sales/craft/antique markets locally? I love the Fashion Souk in the Ulster Hall but want to buy more housey stuff too. I live in South Belfast and the charity shops around here are FAB, I have had so many gorgeous bargains from them including a large brand new Mason Cash bowl for £1!! :j I am also on the lookout for a dresser but have no idea where to get one.
I love TK Maxx too, it is a shabby chic treasure trove, isn't it!Your house is beautiful, where did you get that amazing chair? Sorry for the bombardment! :rotfl:

Artydoll - I love your goose, especially the sentiment!
Thanks for the info on the Range, it looks like somewhere I could waste lots of money - but there is not one anywhere near me unfortunately.
Jcr - your cushion is beautiful, and it's my favourite colour - I keep meaning to make myself a patchwork cushion but keep putting it off!You can stand there and agonize........
