    Nothing wrong with that at all... Oh just for the record, would you by any chance be single? and like to live in Cornwall by the sea??? Hahhaha I like the idea of a shabby husband, I promise not to paint you or distress you too much, but I can say that country living is great!!!!!
    Is it wrong that im a bloke yet quite like some of the shabby chic things lol, not so much the soft furnishings and flowery things but the furnature and the over all old style of things, makes me think of country living and that perfect image of 50's lifestyle. to that end im now bidding on a dresser for my kitchen :)

    Cant see this posted on this thread, sorry if it has. I'm slightly obsessed with free wallpaper samples now and found Little Greene are giving away upto 6 A4 samples. Just ordered mine.

    Not sure what i'm going to do with them all as I ordered samples from all the other links earlier in the week!

    :rotfl::rotfl: Love it

    I could make a patchwork quilt to go with all the free fabric samples I send for too :rotfl: then get a sign with ''Welcome to the patchwork house'' :rotfl:

    Don't worry m'dear, I'm not that way inclined! How about I offer free kid/dog/cat sitting in exchange for a sea view!?

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    In all seriousness, your location does sound idyllic. We used to visit Cornwall when I was a kid and I fell in love with the place. Haven't been for years. When I get my caravan and get it shabby chic-ed I'll convince OH he fancies a (long!) drive.

    I've been a bit down this week after the mortgage for the new house fell through, but it's looking like we've got another option so all may not be lost. Lots of good vibes and finger crossing please :o I've not really had the heart to do anything house or shabby chic related but hopefully once we've got the new mortgage in place we've been told we'd be looking at a 3 week completion :eek: best get packing!
