Sounds pretty! I'd be tempted to go for a ticking picking out, for example, the blue colour, and make stirpy roman blinds or curtains, depending on where your cutains are. You could then make a table runner or cloth to tie it all together too.

I do however have a bit of a ''thing'' about ticking....and need to be restrained from clashing stripes often...and I'm sure there would be cheaper options. :o

If you can I would suggest making it. That way it will be both slightly different to one anyone else can by and it will be something that brings you a little joy and pride in yourself.

The problem always is though, if one doesn't make often the expenditure on stuff to allow good making can really add up :( and make buying as cheap or even cheaper. :(

This thread is gathering momentum :) More fabulous pics to look at.
jcr I agree with lostinrates. I would make my own, if I had a sewing machine that is. It can be an original then.
crusty what great photos. I love the table (gcse project one) and your wedding photo and frame look lovely.

i painted my knobs today while my little boy had his nap. i know it only a little change to our pine side board in our dining room, but i do like it, so don't really want to paint it or change it. Anyway i'm so chuffed with what a difference something so small can make. want to look for a new table light but not sure what i want yet.

    heres before

When I saw this cushion the 1st thing that came to mind was ''I can make that'' so I think you should have a go too :D
The nice thing about making your own soft funishing is it is in the colours you want and it makes you feel good when you look at them :D-
