When I bid on ebay for something I realy want I always leave it till the last 20 seconds then put in a higher bid than it says to for the next amount (if you know what I mean :o) I always get it then.
I only ever put in what I think I want to pay though and if by any chance I am outbid then its not meant to be mine.

It is a lovely dresser though, just wish I had a bigger house :rotfl:

I always use a bid snatcher tool that bids at the last second for you - and you dont have to be about :D

I sometimes find bargains on www.localbargainfinder.co.uk it shows all the things with little or no bids near to you x

i also use a sniper tool
it depends how much is too much?
if its either something a little bit special, or say a particularly odd size that would be just right, i tend to go the extra mile, if its something pretty generic, i set a snipe for a bargain price if i get it i get it if i dont another will be there soon

mumoftwo i have seen blinds with bunting along, a friend did one for her nursery
at first she put them in a straight line, and it kinda reminded me of a punch & judy tent
she then took them off, made a few more and had a slight dip, not like you would when hanging bunting, just a little, and it was so much better
