Nail varnish is the one girlie thing I rarely do - I love it, but I can't keep it on for more than 5 minutes without chipping it.

But I think a little walk to the shop will do me good. :D

Snaggs ~ Mag = £4, chinese = £14... Go for the mag cheaper and no cheating :j

I usually have vegetable Singapore chow mein or veg in black bean sauce with boiled rice, which are both about £4.....but I think I'll be able to get a mag for less than that - okay you persuaded me! :D

  • Hello all,

I'm back from my placement so I finally have a decent internet connection again. I want to collapse in bed and not move until tomorrow morning but I have too much to do. Don't we all? :D

  • I need some advice.

As some of you might know, I got diagnosed with depression just after Xmas. A load of my uni essays had to be put back until the summer because I couldn't get together the willpower to do them and I haven't managed to get another one done since. Sorting counselling out has been one problem after another so at the moment, I'm pretty much dealing with it on my own.

Looking back over my life, I've always been happiest when I'm out and about, doing things. When I'm sat at home, I get my low times and nothing gets done. I'm thinking of doing some volunteering which will really help with getting experience for the career I want after uni. However, I'm worried that if I take on other stuff, even if I think it would help me, I'll just wind up crashing and burning and nothing will get done. I'm already struggling with my workload as it is, because of having no motivation. That would suggest that taking on more is a very bad idea.

What do you guys think? Should I take on something else to try to motivate myself more and get a sense of achievement or should I try to concentrate on what I have to do as it is?
