Weather is gorgeous here, and DH has a day off, so we've been in the garden :T DH is now getting me lunch (he went into the village to get pea sticks and came back with bacon and stilton bread, and some almon stuffed olives    Not OS, but supporting a great little business
).

I thought Pink was nearer my age (43), so assumed you were too- gosh I hardly know anyone under 40 anymore -apart from the kids obviously. I'm rambling now, better shut up.HariboJunkie wrote: »That's just because I come across as so mature.
I'm 35 and Pink is 10 years older. You do the maths.
;):D
Just had some carrot sticks and hummus.
There's a batch of baklava muffins in the oven (Nigella-Domestic Goddess). They're a plain muffin mixture with yogurt. You put some mix in the bottom of a muffin cup then add a spoonful of filling-chopped walnuts, sugar, melted butter and cinnamon. Top with more batter, sprinkle over any remaining nut mixture and bake. When you take them out of the oven you drizzle with honey. Delicious:drool:
Washing is nearly dry and I've hoovered (which is a waste of time because by the time I sit down with my glass of red this evening it will need doing again:rolleyes:) and I've cleaned the bathroom. I love that 'I've just cleaned the bathroom feeling' lol -makes me feel like I've done some actual housework:D0 -

Ahem! Have you all finished discussing my age yet?

Normally when Haribo shows her immaturity
by constantly reminding me, and anyone else who'll listen, of the age difference between us I try to ignore her...but this morning I'm actually pleased because I thought I was 46
and she's right, I'm only 45. :j Having Haribo as a sister would put years on anyone!
The sun has come out so I had a squelsh around the garden and all of the salad and radish seeds I planted last week are peeping their heads above the soil already so they must like the warm damp weather we've been having. I've also got all the bedding blowing on the line so hopefully it will be dry soon.
D&DD, I hope your FIL is ok.
Off to make french toast for lunch...I can't believe the difference in the colour of the yolk from farm free range eggs compared to the supermarket ones, and and then settle down to monopoly.
Pink
Edit: Nessie, your post about washing your face in the dew reminded me of something similar one of my patients said to me last night. She's pleasantly confused so I didn't ask her to explain what she meant. Is it an old May Day tradition?
Just found the answer myself on google: May customs I've missed the dew, do you think washing my face in a puddle in the garden would work or would my family just end up finally getting me certified?
