What less annoying alternative have you identified?

chat board format (like this one!)
means 'threads' can be followed, old posts reviewed more easily, pictures posted, threads 'closed' by the poster once the item has been taken.. etc0 -
Got my first messages this morning in the new Freecycle format. God almighty the tiniest print ever, have asked to go back to the traditional style, and sent feedback to YAHOO local group owner and YAHOO head office.
Print that size aint healthy.0 -
Surprised to get no reaction to message 124.
The new format font is half the size of the smallest on Yahoo. Can't be legal. The new owners of Fenland Group for example, come from OLDHAM, and new moderators are being trained. Does anyone know what's going on in the freecycle groups. Could it be YAHOO.0 -
Increase the font size in your browser/email client.Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0

Hi Grom....Every site including this is ok. Apparently the owners can set the font size.
The new co-owner of one of my freecycle groups has issued a new format with 20year old eyes in mind.
There is an option for traditional style and larger font size or accessing on the web, will use that.0 -
We have had a great freecycle week. We got a new (to us) frost free fridge freezer, gerbil rotastak, bike rack and light board. I am giving my old fridge to a family member but have freecycled a scalextrc, battery charger (got a new smaller one), record player, toys and more.
We love it! Great way to get rid of stuff we don't want and get things we do want. The best bargains are priceless!!!!!!!!!! :T :T :T0 -
I just wasted 2 hours today going to collect items. They had been described as in perfect condition, but when I arrived to pick them up, they were far from it. Honestly the state of them, I wouldn't have had the nerve to offer them on freecycle.
Anyone else had an experience like this???
I feel so let down now0 -
No, as I hardly ever ask for things. Instead, I constantly have people saying they want things and then don't turn up to collect them.Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0
