Advice please...
Im 26 weeks pregnant and have been getting contractions (braxton hicks I pressume) all day! They haent got closer than half hour apart but are a little painful. My DD tried to come at 32 weeks so im a bit worried that history is repeating itself. Do you think im just worrying or should I check it out with the midwife?
On another note, im a trainee teacher (but teaching Yr1 class most of week). Any suggestions on anything to help with seating? I have a computer hair and cushion but its not helping!£2 Savers club £0/£150

Hi all..
I'm not getting involved in the legal timings of mat leave discussions - I only work in HR.. I do it all day long, not doing it when I get home as well. I suggest everyone just uses direct.gov for the correct rules on it.
Personally, my last day will be when I'm 37+5. I work full-time in an office but I'm only doing part-time for the two weeks before I go. My temp cover starts in four weeks
Anyway.. I've been to pick up my pram tonightHave been having a play with it and will play more on the "how to fit it on the car with a baby and a weekly shop" front later on when it stops raining
Saved £175 on new so can put that towards the cotbed we really want.
Off to find something for tea.. My plans for the weekend are to clear my old kitchen, ready for it being demoished on Tuesday. Clearing it involves selling the fridge, freezer and cooker so that should add more to the baby fund too
Hope everyone's okay xx0 -
Glad I could help Glam. And anyone else who finds it useful. I thought I was being a bit sneaky but I'm not going to make me and baby ill for work... much as I love my job I think I might just love baby more:rotfl:
Seem to remember about the pregnancy related illness 4 weeks before. Guessing that if you have a cold or something not baby related then it wouldn't count?
On a different subject... do any of you older ladies remember Strawberry Mivvi's? I can't stop eating them. Seem to have developed even more of a sweet tooth than usual. And they are on offer at Mr T's at the mo so am money saving too:T

I'd call the midwife. It'll do no harm and you'll feel better even if it is nothing.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

We are team blue and I'm sure I saw the winky myself!
Not decorating nursery in gender specific colours anyway as want to use for all my babies IYSWIM
Laminate is for nursery - will be sunshine yellow walls with the white cotbed from Argos (which you posted) and a white/light wood effect wardrobe and changing unit. Would like a coloured blackout blind if possible!
