How much sick are you expecting!!! :rotfl: How about carpet with a cheap washable rug for now and once bubs is over the sicky stage store it for next one.
My sister projectile vomited a few times (Christmas Eve was the worst one year!) in her bedroom.
Thanks KT - I guess I could price up carpets as well.........

Has anyone seen any cot bedding or nursery ranges in bright colours or cream with a bright colour accent?
So far, I think our favourite is M&P Hodge Podge - http://www.mamasandpapas.co.uk/range/hodge-podge/2974/ - but it is rather pricey!
OH insisted there are definite colours in it.. nothing pale or washed-out looking.0 -

Welcome to the new mummies-to-be & so glad to see EA back on TTC list - hope you have a result soon, chick!
Not got tax credits renewal yet, or P60s from our jobs. We're always just above the limits for getting anything more than basic for having kids (~£10 a week), but DH's bonus was a lot less this time, & I think my annual earnings were lower, too, so don't know if it's enough reduced to get more tax credits. If not, we'll just have to work harder, old-fashioned way!DS's friend at college has parents who somehow managed to convince EMA system that were hard-done-by, so he gets full whack, even tho he earns ££ from part-time job & parents do actually have larger income than us cos they're 'property developers' - our income was about £200 over the limit for our DS to get anything, so we have to fork out for his bus fares, lunches, etc.
:mad:Rant alert! Had a moan at DH earlier - can you believe that we've not been for a night out or any other sort of grown up time off since before Christmas?! This comes on top of the fact that cos he's doing some project I am doing all the washing, cleaning, shopping, cooking for a family of four, plus looking after toddler 7 days a week with no break, so am just a tad peed off & think I need some time off! He didn't seem to get it!!!
Have had some chocolate, but it doesn't seem to be working yet, sorry about the moan! Was going to do cross stitch tonight, but am so cross I might stab self & bleed all over it! :rotfl:
Well, this is a long, moaning post, didn't mean to - got carried away typing:rotfl:bet it's those darn hormones, or I need more chocolate!July 2024 GC £0.00/£400

Can you use the words 'men' & 'understand' in the same sentence? Isn't that an oxymoron?

havent been posting much today as stuck on sofa with spotting and cramping bad today
- did anyone else get that and a bit of cramps around when af was due. I have had it for about 24 hrs and not enough to mark clothes. - its still freaking me out though:eek:
Hi Jha, I can't remember how far along you are but if you are early and the bleeding doesn't stop soon you can go to your local hospital and if they have an early pregnancy unit, mine has one where you can just drop in, they will give you an internal scan to check on the baby. I don't think they can see much before 7 weeks but it would put your mind at rest.Mum to DD born Oct 2009
