    Pack it in you :p

So 6 months ML and then 1 month Annual Leave - 7 Months off :j
I won't wanna go back :rotfl:

You can pack it in Glam. 3 months full pay has been proposed to me, plus the few weeks holiday I have not taken this year, can be carried over and tagged on to the end. This may give me to middle of January. Hopefully.

    Soooo, Jealouse! Me!. Never! :p

MM I was really lucky and by chance had one of my earlier appointments with him, although at that point no one told me that he was my consultant. I was told that he was a locum covering my consultants maternity leave. He has now been assigned as my consultant  But its a good thing, he is an awesome jamaican bloke who doesnt give 2 hoots that my BMI is high as he can see that I am healthy otherwise and in his words "not alot that can be done about it now" and "at least we know baby will be well cared for" Although I think he meant that I wouldnt have a problem eating for 2 IYSWIM. :D Generally he is one of the consultants I have seen who hasnt b0ll0cked me about my weight.

I know how you feel tickle. I'm 34 weeks today and have my csection in 5 weeks and still havent met my consultant yet either !! I need to know if she is nice or not, and if she has shaky hands !!!

Ah, so you are finishing at 34 weeks! See, I've calculated that as working up to 39 + 5
Figured if it gets too much before that I'll just go off sick so Mat Leave starts automatically!

WM - I get no full pay at all!!!:mad:
Going to ask again when I provide MatB1 and letter but at present it's just SMP! So, I'm only getting that time off by saving hard between now and then. If I get full pay even for 3 months then I will be able to have the full year off!! :j

Where does the time go?

Am technically working to 36 + 4 but a week of that is holidays.
I worked till 39 +2 with Jasmine and was in so much pain I spent the last week of my pregnancy in bed crying every time I moved !! Was NOT going to do that this time !!!

Also I get 10 weeks full pay then 33 weeks SMP but I am only taking 5 1/2 months mat leave and 5 weeks holidays tagged onto the end so I am going back to work at the start of January

With this being my first I don't know what to expect - I feel atm but we all know that could change!
I want more time off afterwards and with us getting everything sorted out so early on, I'll not have much to do so taking ML earlier will mean I'm bored stiff!

We'll see how it goes - I wouldn't mind 10 weeks at full pay although it doesn't cost them much as the first 6 of those SMP is 90% anyway so in effect they'll top it up for 6 weeks by 10% and then it's just 4 weeks at full pay!

I'm hungry - I need food. Going on to the local shops in search of money (cashpoint!) and some grub.

My ML officially kicks in on the 3rd Aug - day before my EDD:eek:. I have 19 days hols that I can use or roll over...I haven't a clue when I am actually going to finish. My plan at the moment is to work to the point where I have to stop (or someone tells me I have to - I'm the kind to just keep going :o)

Working on the above I have 12 weeks left - 56 working days and some holidays :D

Oh, and I'm looking at only taking 6 months ML - so back in March, but will have holidays - but maybe only part time

Evening ladies and bumps from the thunder and rain and heat of Cambodia! The rain is so heavy, can't even hear whats on the telly!

Rambutans were lovely - todays fruity treat is mangosteens which are even more lovely!!

Still haven't got a booking in appointment - DP is checking post, got a leccy bill though, great - and am 11 weeks tomorrow. Am convinced my bump hasn't grown since the weekend and also worried as BP with all this travelling and heat will probably be awful and then they'll put me on meds and our little cell cluster (been calling it that since we found out!) just isn't there when we get a scan.

How big were you all at 11 weeks? Been looking at these websites where people put up their belly photos and they are all enormous! Think being far from home is maknig me paranoid!
