    Morning ladies!

    Is anyone in labour yet?

I'm just off to the administrative section of the hospital, I need to drop in my new address form and my maternity leave things. I've been putting it off because the admin department is in the section of the hospital that is Not Accessible By Lift and is up ten flights of stairs. I'm going to take lots of rests and hope that someone comes along and gives me a little shove from behind to help me up there.

I was in bed super early last night, had a hellacious mood on me and then my beloved's bug war in the pantry got to me and I spent a while dry heaving. Whatever they are, they're into cereal and chocolate powder, but also broke into a sealed squeezy bottle of mayo and made webs in it. And he showed it to me. HOW are the little barstewards getting through Mylar and foil protective seals???

    Today (me):

    Stop by Personalabteilung before meeting
    Meeting 12:30
    Paper
Pick up infant stim mobile* 7-7:30
Find out what the word for RLT is in German

*in the shops, €40-60. Second hand €10. Not precisely a bargain, but after six months I'm going to sell it for €10 too. It's one of those black and white ones.
My beloved has a meeting with his boss today. The boss is being a bit of an !!! and is clearly in the wrong, but refuses to accept that he's in the wrong and rather than just shift the problem by allowing OH to switch departments as he wishes he is refusing to help him move and it's all a bit worrying. Networking has been proceeding apace, and everyone but the boss likes OH and is happy with his work, but it's the boss who counts in this case.
Another essay from me. Enjoy your days.

mrstine did you try mazuma? OH uses that cos he gets the most money for most phones from there, he gets a lot of people leaving their phones with him after a upgrade so uses it quite a lot.

It's never too early for ice cream!

I have to get ready... My friend is picking me up in half an hour and we're going to the art gallery for a breastfeeding awareness day... Last year there was someone giving out free cloth nappies, hope they're there again! Oh and doidy cups too... Just need to iron some maternity clothes...

Well I have opted for hot chocolate with extra thick double cream instead for now ;) icecream for lunch lol
DH is getting all jittery I think... He wants us to go through everything for hospital and bags and everything tonight just so that IF anything happens he knows what to do bless him :) He's just so cute :D
Knew I shouldn't have told him the lower part of the bump is hurting everytime I stand up at the moment... lol

I have been lurking for some time now and have popped on a couple of times asking questions to which i have received great advice - thank you!!

I am still too superstitious to put my EDD on the list until my scan on the 26th May.

Talking of scans, i really want to know the sex of the baby but OH doesn't. (i know there won't be sexing at my upcoming scan, asking for later)

Is there any way i can find out the sex without OH knowing and without him knowing that i know??!! If that makes sense!!!

Thanks and hope to be joining you properly in a couple of weeks!

    Hi faye

You can ask them to write it on a piece of paper or ask OH to leave the room - that is what some girls have done. Although you will have to be careful not to slip up! Buying pink or blue clothes would be a giveaway!

Even though I know bean is a boy I still call him It sometimes by accident but most of the time it's him! My OH knows though!
    How many weeks are you?

Anyone been the first in their circle of friends to have kids?

I'm the first of my school/college year group to have a baby and the rest of them are all horrified at the idea - despite most of them being married or engaged!

From school circle I am the last one at 25!
Don't really have any friends here - just people me and OH know thru work! You guys are my 'circle of friends'. Cringes at how sad she sounds :o

I wish people would stop saying - 'Oh, don't u look big for 21 weeks'
OH said everyone in work had been saying how Massive I looked the other night!
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

lol, I'm definitely the first of my 'group' from back home (emigrated to the UK 3 years ago) to have kids - I know when they find out, they will think I'm a bit nuts!!
