you can sneak of for a secret sexing scan.
My friend has done just this and managed to keep it a secret throughout - she's having a c-section on friday

I know we're having a boy and OH doesn't but he does know that I know IYSWIM
We had the scan lady write it down so I could read it and OH could keep his surprise

angela6834 - has had an emergancy c/s - I'm not sure of any details but her OH has PM'd me to say both bubba and Angela are doing ok - she was due begining of July

faye - you can ask the scan tech to write it down and pass it to you, so you can see it but OH can't. In our case, DH wanted to know, so we just found out. He can't keep a secret to save his soul. LOL

speaking of scary.. I feel soo sorry for the peeps at parentcraft last night the MW told us alsorts of IMO completely unnecessary things and some of the ladies faces look traumatised!! :eek:

I am 8 weeks this week and Iv'e got my booking in apt this pm don't know why but i am getting a little nervous. I guess it makes it all more real cos i have been trying not to get attached after losing my last one and i guess i am not looking forward to having to go though it all and explaining what happened with the midwife.

awww, elastigirl, good luck!! you're lucky...we're due around the same time and my booking appt isn't until the beginning of June!

Good luck at your appointment elastigirl. I found it hard at my scans whenever I was asked if this was my first pregnancy and had to explain about my m/c, but I've found that the doctors realise it's hard for you and are sensitive....hope that it's the same for you this afternoon.

Congratulations to angela too....I hope that both you and your little girl are doing well!

Hi everyone !!

Well MW has been and gone, she took my bloods again as she is not sure if I look like I am getting enough iron, I'm on 600mg a day already !!!
BP was back down to 120/70 so she was happy with that and is letting me go 3 weeks to 37 weeks before she wants to see me again as I have my scan in 2 weeks time.

Bubs HB was 142 and really strong !!

All I have to do now is relax for an hour before I need to head off to the physio.
