Not totally caught up yet. Hope everyone is ok.

Had the carpest day yesterday. OH taken into hospital for the 3rd time in 3 weeks. Had to force him to go to the doctors so he could get a referal.
He could barely walk or talk he was in so much pain. Am disgusted that he was released last sunday, when the surgeon yesterday that we saw, said his intestines are severally inflammed and he needs intensive medical internvention to try and stabalise him, before surgery becomes an option.

Why are men so stubborn, took me becoming hysterical before he would go to the doctors. He had gone from being 33 to looking 63 overnight. Stood my ground this time and would not be sent away as i have had before, until i saw a doctor and heard what they had to say.

Was imprssed witht he surgeon, but not at all with the Gastro team at Wigan hospital.

DS is going to Nans for tea afterschool, they are going to take him to see his dad and then he will stay there for the night and i will pick him up to take to school in the morning. OH has told me not to visit tonight, to go home after work an relax. But i know guilt will set in and make me go.

Sorry for the essay. Just need to vent sometimes.

I was thinking about people who are due in the next week or so saying that no-one could go before them :rotfl:

My plan is to get everything done in my 3 weeks leave in June so that I am ready just in case!

Oh and I worked it out..................

    9 days til Annual Leave
    Then 15 days Annual Leave
Then 64 Days til Mat Leave

So only 88 working days left til Mat Leave!!!

I've not counted weekends - too much like hard work!

Aw hun, I know how you feel. I have been there on a few occasions where I have litterally dragged OH to the hospital !!

If they try to release him again, ask for a 1-1 discussion with his consultant before you leave the hospital. They are not allowed to refuse this by the way as it is written in their duty of care that you can have all of the information available to you.

Try to have a rest this evening, you really do need it.

I have 1 working day left till a weeks holidays and then ML till the end of the year !!!!!

    Pack it in you :p

Just think when u go back to work, I'll be enjoying Christmas off and New Year off - possible all the way through to Easter :p:p

OH said last night that if he can sort out his job for next season, we might be able to just live off his wages for a few months so I can have longer than the anticipated 6 months!!
Just need to save another £1500 between now and end of October (SMP normal rate cuts in from November) so that's £250 to save each month!
    EASY!!!!!

So 6 months ML and then 1 month Annual Leave - 7 Months off :j
I won't wanna go back :rotfl:

    Thank you MM.

He has text me that the ward he is on seems much more organised than the previous one he was on and seems to be getting better care. Hope it continues.

Hi everyone, i havent been on for a few days cos hubby had bit of time off and i discovered prof layton on my mams ds.

had mw on monday and told them about my belly being numb at the front there was mw and student mw there who both said my belly was a funny shape and had a circle mark on it this plus bubs being bit quiet she decided to send me for a trace - all was well bubs didnt stop - typical!! Anyway nothing came of the numbness but they think baby is back to back - GREAT!! so i have all limbs up front and will have longer labour if he doesnt turn.

Bit depressed but also just getting impatient - oh and this mw said to call them as soon as i think im in labour rather than waiting til 7 mins like other mw's said - who knows!!
