Maybe. It would make some kind of sense.

But I think the cervix doesn;t let stuff through into the uterus anyway does it?

I'd love chippy chips but they're an impossible commodity in Germany cause they're all rubbish. There's a place that does Belgian fries but they're two train rides away and I don't wanna go

Currently halfway horrified and halfway finding this quite hilarious: 5 tabs open in my browser. Gmail, Tesco Baby Event, Ann Summers (very rude toys), MSE and Facebook, where I'm talking to a friend whose first boyfriend just dumped her. Some of these things do not go together.

What is GBS?

It's an infection that some women carry that the baby can pick up during birth whilst moving down the birth canal. I had it in my last pregnancy and Ben had intravenous antibiotics for 3 days after birth, was a horrible experience and I have been bricking myself the whole of this pregnancy as I thought it would happen again. Can now have the HB I wanted!

Shouldn't, but I guess their philosophy might be better safe than sorry? Then again maybe because it's absorbed "locally" it might be a different matter and that's why? I'm only guessing mind

Hi all..

Had a grouchy day today. My boss has been the same so our conversations were something like "You okay? You don't look okay.. Yeah, I'm !!!!!! off too.. No, don't know what with!" :rolleyes: Got my temp cover coming in for a meeting tomorrow morning at 10am and my office is a pigsty Can't imagine that I'll be in the mood to tidy it up first thing in the morning either

OH has gone out to see his Mum tonight and also taking her to the house to see the progress.. Would be nice if she got involved but I'm not holding out much hope. Suppose I should be grateful for such an "at-arm's-length" MIL having read some of your stories!

Got our train tickets booked. We're going to Birmingham on Friday, shopping in the afternoon, staying overnight then going to the Baby Show on Saturday, then getting the late train home. You can book seats on trains via thetrainline and specify "near toilets" so that's what Mum's done so I don't have far to go! OH said he trusts my judgement on cotbeds so if I see one I like I can order it on the day (if that's possible? ) or at least order it once we get home.

Oh, comedy pregnancy small talk from this morning in the postroom between me and the accounts temp from a neighbouring company (I was sorting the post and she was waiting for her company's pile):-
Her: Are you hoping for a boy or a girl?
Me: We already know it's a boy
Her: Oh.. and is that alright? Is that what you wanted?
Me: I really don't mind.. [too bloody late now, don't we think!? :rolleyes:]
Spent ten minutes this afternoon thinking of alternative answers with the girls from my dept.. best ones were:-
"No, it's not alright, I really wanted a girl.. Do you want him?"
"No, I'm hoping there's a girl born at the same time that I can swap him with!"
and from my colleague without children, "No, I'm going to drown him and try again ASAP!" (thought that one was a BIT harsh myself!) Honestly! :cool:

Anyway.. hope everyone's okay xx

I'm going to the Baby Show on Saturday as well. I'm dragging along OH, my parents and his parents so we will be a big group! Probably won;t even buy anything but it's about time we at least looked!
