Hello everyone! I will have to admit to lurking for quite a few weeks on this board. You all gossip to the max!!! I went for my 12 week scan this morning which was exciting and such a relief to see the little bean squirming away in there!!! So now I feel like I can tell the world....so if its okay with you ladies I would love to join you for the 6 months I have ahead of me. Could someone add me to the EDD list (due date 21 November) please...otherwise I'll try and work out how to do it later (sorry I'm a luddite when it comes to computers) :j:j

I am confused and bemused this afternoon. TMI alert - green discharge - called midwife who said sorry we cant help you its too early in your pregnancy you must see your gp - called gp - no appointments untill next week:mad: - Emergencies only.

I did suffer with thrush before i was pregnant so i am hoping that it is that but its a bit unnerving not knowing what it is i will just have to ask pharmacist if it is ok to use a pessary whilst pregnant.

I think i should have done a bit more research on the whole pregnancy symptoms thing before so i wouldnt freak out :rolleyes:.

Well OH was released from Hospital again on Sunday, after being told on Saturday that there has been some change in the last xray of his intestines and he would be referred to a surgeon. Was then discharged at 10.30am on Sunday, after being told, that the above was a load of Carp, as no-one had even looked at his xrays until Sunday morning. Am wholly unimpressed with the RAEI in Wigan. This does not bode well for me. Hope the maternity unit is much better, especially as i may be having elective C-section.

Glam - congrats on even more car-boot sale bargains. I really need to get my !!! into gear and get out there on a sunday morning. Will have to wait til OH is better though, so he can take DS to sunday morning football. By the time I start looking, you will have bought everything you need and i may not be stealing your bargains.

Oh and i ordered some Mam bottles and soothers off their website, that were on BOGOFF. And have had a double delivery. I now have 24 bottles(12 160ml and 16 260ml) and 8 new born soothers! I have checked and i have not been charged twice. Yet! Now will it be worth putting some on ebay.:rolleyes: Or do i just give some to my mum and MIL to keep at theirs. Not sure if MIL will be able to get her head round them as they have to be broken down into 5 different peices to cleaned. My mum should be much better with them. MIL can't get her head around electric or microwave sterilisers, even thought i bought her a microwave one when DS was born, she insisted on using cold water tablets. Each to their own i suppose. Just takes far too long.

Don't think i have any more news, except after my shower this morning i was moisturising my bump and OH (Who hasn't really seen me naked due to hospital stays for a good few weeks) said look at the size of you. This would have been ok if he had been looking at my bump and not my backside at the time. Not impressed. Now debating whether to go and weigh myself on the works industrial scales.

Double check with your GP as I think some girls on here have had conflicting advice about pessary usage - I'm sure it was a no-go.
I would book in as an emergency - you are pregnant and have weird discharge - it needs sorting out.

Sneakily updating the list now my EDD has been moved forward a few days. Also, I only just noticed that searching is due on my birthday. That baby better arrive on time!

Yup...its my first, so lots to take in at the mo...very exciting and a little bit daunting! Got the 'fun' of telling my boss at work tomorrow which is going to be a little awkward as I only transferred to his team on the 1 April...hopefully he will be okay though.
