edit - GPs DO routinely test pregnant women who have come into contact with chicken pox 2 of my real life friends who work at the same school had the tests after 12 weeks gone
I'm not having a go or anything

Don't worry I am not thinking that. Well maybe I am but but I don't care anyhow :p

If GP's are supposed to routinely test for chicken pox then maybe I should bring it up with my medical centre as I was just sent away being told not to worry.

Actually I'm not sure how they would cope if they did routinely test and an outbreak occured at our local school. Seeing as all the husbands got back from a 6 month tour last November so we are currently experiencing a baby boom with pregnant ladies around here at the moment. They never have any appointments available as it is so that would really test the capabilities of the Army. :rotfl:

Krystal I had a random bout of morning sickness this morning. Standing putting some make up on then got all hot and shivvery, ran to the loo and didn't feel right until well after lunch. Hope yourse passes soon!

Kids and DH home, dinner started (lamb chops, baby pots, green beans and salad) and now I'm tired and needing a nap.

Been away a week and sooooo many pages to cacth up on!

I need a rant - moved 4 weeks ago to totally new area so obviously needed to register at new gp's and have ended up goign there every week since to get my blood pressure checked as its borderline high and turns out today they still haven't sent a letter to the local ante-natal clinic (I say local, I still have to work out how to get there!) as the one the nurse-practioner wrote long hand as they didn't have my old gp notes has been lost. She said she would do another one "first thing" but then she said that last week too:mad:! Am 10 weeks tomorrow too so am going to be at least 12 weeks before I get to see a midwife - being the paranoid 1st timer I am, am really fed up with this and apparently I can't refer myself even though they have not done a test or anything to check I am pregnant.

Am now going to read everyone elses news and calm down!

Grrr... Did some yellow food for Aimee and her friend for tea (it's all her friend will eat) left them sitting in the garden for a minute to eat it and her friend managed to tip the table over so their dinner just ended up on the lawn... Then her Mum turned up to fetch her... Aimee is now sitting watching golden balls eating beans on toast...

Feeling slightly less sick... Did a glass of hubby's coke to see if the fizz would settle my tummy but it was flat! Might pinch on of his work cans in a min... Just told my aunt that labour feels imminent... But I'm probably kidding myself and will be here in a fortnight feeling rank...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
