well i double checked and i will have scan first then see MW. As they are closing 2 out of 3 "local" units - 2 are 2x bus ride and 1is 1 x bus ride - i will have to wait 6 plus weeks for scan and then up to a month to see MW because of baby boom ... the receptionist said this is a rough guide maybe sooner. if it takes as long as she guesses i will nearly be half way! And yes the one i will go too takes over an hour in traffic and is two buses away!

Had my scan at just over 12 weeks, but still haven't had my booking appointment - it's scheduled for this Thursday, when I'll be 14+2 (ish, lost count at the moment).

Like a few of you, I'm trying to plan for this baby in a very MSE way - so far I've spent £20 on a moses basket & stand (extravagance), and £9.50 on bargain clothes! My parents are going to spoil us with a new travel system (buggy & car seat), and that plus the mattresses will probably be the only new things this baby sees for a while

mmmm, searching, you are evil!! actually have a big dark choc Lindt bar in the cupboard, but really crave a proper pudding...something big and chewy. choc's gone too soon!!
