Hey ladies and bumps!
Hope all is well.
Thank you Krystaltips- The sleeping thing has always been awkward, sore and slightly painful but this is a whole new level of ouch!
As instructed I have spent the day with bum planted on the sofa, and can now take baby steps rather than shuffle still hurts. But I am not looking forward to lying down later. I just dont know why its been so bad today, we spent yesterday watching films so I did nothing to exacerbate it.
OH wants me to go in to hosp but I cant see the point as there isnt anything they can do, as I am a non emergency. My mum agrees with OH, and has the point of view that they may consider moving my date forwards. I dont know what I am going to do, may leave it a bit longer and see if I can actually get into bed, if I cant I will get help lol :rolleyes:DS1 arrived 22/02/11! 8lb3oz

sneaks on to MSE whilst calculating how much paint and flooring she needs
((Hugs)) tickle - I can sympathise and I am nowhere near in as much pain as you! I shuffle along if I sit down for too long and sleep is horrendous - only comfy on my back and I feel very guilty lying on my back!!
I have maltesers, minstrels, revels, creme eggs, easter eggs, strawberry ice cream, mint choc chip ice cream and orange lollies.
oops been caught.................A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Sorry to hear your in so much pain Tickle, hope it starts easing soon.
Can I come visit you Glam, I have a bag of mints I could bring?0 -
OohI love hearing about everyone's bargains on here! I must admit I plan to buy very few clothes to start with as I am sure we will get given tons.
Got to spend tomorrow in the garden as in-laws gave us some plants and I have yet to actually plant them out. Not really a problem except they are visiting mid-week so will expect to see them in situ. Would much rather spend the day sat in the garden but never mind.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
How much was the electronic one? Microwave one to big for our microwave.
Glam the electronic one was £15.00. But i also used the 25% off code. So got that and the microwave one, including delivery for less than £19. Bargain.
Jvic
They both came with 2 - 260ml bottles, tongs and bottle brush.
Can't find anywhere that says of the bottles contain BPA. But i have already ordered some MAM bottles from their online store which are BPA free and Buy 1 get 1 free also.
Next on my list are moses basket and bouncer/rocker/swing. But think i will take a leaf out of Glamazon book and take a look at some car boots.
Was watching a lovely bouncer and matching moses basket & stand on ebay. They both went for a combined £15. Only reason i didn't bid was coz they were blue and we are in the don't know which flavour we are having camp. Am gutted i didn't bid on them. Was being stupid, baby wouldn't care would it.
OH is finally home from hospital. Now in bed. So at least the rushing around is over. Yay.:T0 -
Evening ladies. Hope everyone is ok
We've been having a bit of a baby day today - we put together the chest of drawers for the nursery (IKEA - we weren't too sure what they'd be like, but really impressed, they are very sturdy).
We also went to M+P to get the cot mattress (10% off weekend) and I picked up a few more bits of maternity clothes. I only have 9 weeks to go now, but find I'm running out of tops to wear. They had 30% off, so it ended up being pretty reasonably priced. My best buy was some white linen trouser which were £21 after the 30% discount.

...right I'm being unsociable so I better log off - cue everyone else coming on now............ Sami, MM, Elle, Tara and the rest of the evening crew!
Only an hour late..
Thankyou to all the newbies for getting avatars!Just got to learn them all now..
Well I spent the morning helping my Dad in the kitchen - I was chief strawberry chopper and cutlery washer! Everyone turned up around 1pm, we ate dinner, I stayed to chat for a bit but OH went upstairs for a nap (day 34 of early mornings has got to him!). I went up at 4pm to check on him and ended up curling up next to him and falling asleep myself. Woke up at 5.30pm and all the distant rellies had left and only my parents and grandparents were left - oops!
Showed my grandparents my pram and they're all very impressed with it. Grandad especially happy that it faces me when I'm pushing it - I got a lecture from him when it was on the news a few months ago about baby facing you and bonding  My nana had bought two really cute outfits when she was in a posh baby boutique with my mum the other day - the type they wouldn't have gone in if they'd seen the pricetags first!
And my grandma and grandad have given us £100 "towards" (as in they expect it to cost more than that!!) a rocker/bouncy/swing chairThey've been to a local dept store and picked me up some brochures. They pointed out the Graco swing chairs so I think that's how much they're thinking these things cost now. We are actually getting a swing chair from OH's sister (her youngest is now 3) but the money means we can get the M&P bouncy chair I've been lusting after :j I said we'd only get it if someone wanted to treat us as it's £80 which is a bit much but it is lush!
Whole family also apparently very impressed with my eating and the way I loaded up my plate.. several timesI used to be a very fussy eater so that's what they were expecting.
Harley, don't know if you saw my earlier post but I was a size six. In January I bought lots of size eight maternity jeans from Next in their sale but when they arrived I tried them on and thought "OMG I'm never going to get that big!".. Needless to say, I did! I still have to wear them with belts for when I'm walking around (most of them came with lovely belts too) but I'm now at the stage of undoing them when I'm slobbing out on the sofa in the evenings.
Searching, my OH doesn't like crumble either, but I always have a tin of Hartleys Apple and Raspberry pie filling and a bag of crumble mix (can't think who makes it but it comes in a green bag) in the cupboard and make myself a small crumble whenever I fancy it
Right, enough waffle.. time to catch up on what I've missed whilst typing this epic! :rolleyes:0
