Glam - as long as you feel movement it's fine. My midwife said ten movements in waking hours, and I have more than that so I don;t worry even if I don;t feel anything for a few hours.

I've spent the last couple of hours giving myself a pedicure while OH hoovers the house! :D Now I have lovely matching toes and fingers (even if my toes aren;t as good as my professionally done fingers) and feel ready to go Paris - two more sleeps!

Mind you, I have done loads of cooking today and will be doing a roast this evening so I've done my share of work too.

  • Afternoon all - feeling mighty relieved as have just finished writing an article for work that has been hanging over me. Recent tiredness and PG-related stuff hasn't helped (we got back at midnight last night from hospice up north, both exhausted) so really good to get a draft done. Also had dodgy guts after the most innocent looking milkshake from an AMT outlet (no constipation here :D) so hoping everything will settle down soon. Hope Cub isn't affected by it...

Hopefully doing baby things tomorrow like stencilling the nursery after 2 busy days. Really looking forward to doing some positive preparation for her arrival

Glam, not to be cheeky but what's the point of 2 prams? I had only planned on buying 1 travel system that includes car seat - is this not enough?? Also, I've never quite understood the point of a carrycot - does the car seat thingee not serve the same purpose?

oh, I'm so ignorant! this babe is going to be such a learning curve!!

You can only put a baby in a car seat for two hours at a time so you may need something else.

I'm getting a pram which lifts off to become a moses basket from Silver Cross, but I'm not getting two prams.

2 prams, car bases, carrycots, baby seats, changing units, baby baths = none of this is needed at all! Obviously others like to buy all of this stuff and nothing says they shouldn't at all, i wish i could! But i'm going for a MSE baby :D:D (Not much by choice lol)

Surely whenever a baby is not in a car seat it's in a moses basket, cot or pram anyway .

    Hello everyone

    How are we all?

Aless - have you been told how long you got to wait for first scan (on NHS) and booking appointment?

Ikea do small cots... Might be worth checking their website out...

I'm using a pram that has a carrycot that turns into a seat... But will be using a buggy for buses and things once baby is sitting up... The big pram will then mostly be used for the school run...

Hubby finally arrived home 5 hours after he left the house... Managed to spend 5 mins with Mr Tabson... Didn't want to leave him either... Poor mite... Did bring Krispy Kremes home though... So I know what I'll be eating tonight :p
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
