HOPE YOURS IS SUCCESSFUL TOO.
Yeah that was quite quick. When did you ask for the decision and report?
I thought I had to wait till I got told the decision before I asked.0 -
i phoned the dss to ask the day after the medical.I'd get the report good or bad if i were you.If bad you can challenge it,if good it can help you next time/help yr gp have another opinion/help with claims etc.Every day above ground is a good one0

Yeah I know if you have to appeal they get sent to you anyway, I have been through an appeal. So I assumed that I would have to wait see what the outcome was and if bad, it would be sent and if good I would ask then for a copy.0

3 mental points and NO physical points. Just ridiculous!!
The doc at the medical just didn't ask me enough, so her report will be made up of lies I should think.
I am so so angry!!!! I will be appealing but I know it will have a detrimental effect on my health.0 -

Ted_Hutchinson wrote:Despite what has been said on this thread it is still the case that most PCA assessments support the claimant, so please don't worry but do make sure you make it clear to the assessor when you perform each of the activities which cause you pain or discomfort of the pain/discomfort you are in. If you are actually having a better day on the day of the assessment you should make it clear that your performance that day is not typical and that your condition is variable.

I had a doctor come out today for my DLA renewal, he wasn't one of the supportive doctors at all. He was so stand offish and intimidating that i actually burst into tears at one point. I was due to have someone with me but unfortunately they couldn't get there, last min thing etc. The first doctor i had 3 years ago was lovely, he was so caring and genuine nice person but this one i had today couldn't even smile or look at me when he spoke to me, well he didn't actually speak he mumbled that i had to ask him to keep repeating himself, and to make matters worse he was the image of Harold Shipman! I really don't hold out much hope about not having to go to appeal.0
